Durable Rip-Stop reinforced fabric, VersaStretch material

The trousers are made from high-quality fabric with a grammage of 225 g/m2, consisting of equal proportions of cotton and nylon. The Rip-Stop structure provides increased resistance to abrasion and damage, and thicker threads form a mesh that reinforces the fabric, reducing the risk of tears spreading. This makes the trousers perfect for demanding terrain, guaranteeing durability and comfort. In addition, VersaStretch fabric (93% nylon, 7% elastane) has been used in the buttocks and crotch areas to increase flexibility and provide greater freedom of movement.

8 practical pockets

The model is equipped with 8 spacious pockets:

  • two inset hip pockets with reinforced edges
  • two rear pockets with reinforced edges
  • two spacious cargo pockets secured with buttons
  • two smaller calf-height pockets secured with Velcro

YKK zip, adjustable waistband and legs, wide belt loops

Instead of a button, a wide Velcro has been used, which allows for precise adjustment of the waist circumference, adapting it to the figure. The fly is equipped with a durable zip from the renowned Japanese brand YKK. Wide belt loops allow for the use of belts with a maximum width of 50 mm, ensuring stability even under heavy loads. The two front belt loops also have loops for attaching small accessories. At the bottom of the legs, there are elastic cords with stoppers that allow for adjusting their circumference.

MultiCam Camouflage

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

    The material and workmanship of these trousers are more than decent, which is typical of most Helikon products. The XL Long size fits perfectly for a height of 191 cm and a weight of 96 kg. I recommend them for their comfort and solid construction — they are among my favourite trousers.

    The trousers are very good and, despite various comments about Helikon, they still offer solid quality. The sizing is true to life. Compared with the UTP model, they are slightly longer, have a different pocket layout, and feature very large cargo pockets positioned higher up, which increases comfort. Additionally, there are drawcords at the bottom of the legs. As for the downsides, I would point to too few belt loops on the sides and the rear pockets. A magazine, for example for an AR, will fit widthwise, but the pockets are fairly shallow. In the UTP model, this is definitely done better. At this price, especially on offer, they are really worth buying.

    I ordered the trousers on Friday at around 16:30, and by Saturday at 10:00 they had already arrived. Size L-long turned out to be perfect for my height of 186 cm and waist circumference of 90 cm. The Velcro seems to be a very practical solution, but I'll see how it performs after longer use. The wide waistband and proper cut keep the trousers in place well. The only thing that concerns me is the possibility of chafing on the inner thighs due to the connection with the elastic insert in the crotch—I think the right underwear should prevent this. Now it's time for a proper test.

    These are very comfortable, ergonomic and exceptionally durable trousers that perform excellently in the field, at the shooting range, during tactical operations and on demanding hikes. In my opinion, however, it is worth paying extra for the MCDU model.

    These are great trousers. I've got 3 pairs of Helikon-Tex MBDU trousers having recently received a pair in multicam black & FAL 7013. They are high quality premium trousers. Large cargo side pockets with Canadian buttons, durable rip stop fabric and a very comfortable fit. They also look good when worn. I cannot stress enough just how comfortable these trousers are especially in the recent heatwaves we've had. I would highly recommend these trousers and recommend this company.

    I chose size M because that’s what I currently wear, and although other Helikon trousers I’ve bought recently (UTP, HOP, Next, Blizzard, and others) fit me perfectly, this model feels too small. The biggest problem I have is putting my hands into the side pockets. If they had a more classic angle, they might work better for me. On the plus side, the workmanship is solid and the material looks durable.

    These are neither my first nor my last pair of Helikon trousers. They may not look very tactical, because they’re a bit loose, but for most people that doesn’t really matter much anyway. The pockets are roomy, although I miss having organisers in them — because of that, a wallet or tissues shift around, and for example when getting into a car, you have to readjust them. A big plus is the reinforcement on the pocket edges, which will be appreciated by people who never go anywhere without a knife.

    Very impressed with these MBDU trousers. Good quality material and very well made. The size guide is spot on & they fit perfectly.     I have never experienced anything like this before – everything went perfectly! When I read on the Military website that over 99% of parcels arrive the next day, I thought it was an exaggeration and was certain that I would be in that 1%. However, I was pleasantly surprised because the parcel was ready for collection the very next day, even though I placed the order late in the afternoon (around 5-6 pm). It's amazing, I still can't believe it. As for the order itself, I had doubts about whether the colour would match the photo and whether I got the size right, as I had to return clothes bought from other shops before. However, as soon as I tried them on, my concerns disappeared – the trousers fit as if they were tailor-made for me (I'm 190 cm tall, I chose size XL Long). I will certainly shop at Military again.

    Very comfortable cut and high-quality, pleasant-to-wear fabrics; the colour does not differ from other olive green shades in the Helikon range and has a nice matte finish, not too conspicuously green. Bought in combination with the MCDU Combat Shirt and matches perfectly; size L fits slightly loosely on 1.84m/85kg, but can be adjusted wonderfully at the waist and legs even without a belt.

    Managed to get the last pair in this size, perfect fit, very comfortable. Lots of really useful pockets. Plenty of belt loops, makes them very secure when wearing a belt. Plenty of room in the legs for large thighs, not so comfortable indoors laying around in them. But very comfortable on the move or outdoors. Look forward to using these in all weather outdoors with their waterproof outer coating, really great camo that is quite subtle from a distance or even quite close to the untrained eye they just like like a light to moderate green. Which is great, because it makes it less obvious and more understated to the non camo liking public. Arrived surprisingly quickly with a great delivery price, even when compared to other sellers like Military1st who I used for items like this in the past.
