The knee pads fit perfectly into the Helikon-Tex MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop trousers. There is no need to trim them, and that way they also provide better protection. I still haven’t been able to use them for an extended period, but at first impression they do not interfere with walking, although they do retain heat.

If you already own a pair of Helikon-Tex trousers compatible with them, you will likely want a pair of these insertable knee pads. I believe they are a worthwhile purchase, as they offer comfort and protection during work and other outdoor activities. While they were presumably designed for tactical, military, or law enforcement use, I use them for camping and hiking; my knees appreciate the protection against impacts while scrambling or during tasks that require kneeling for extended periods. They are lightweight, flexible and durable, while also providing effective insulation against cold and moisture. However, I do not use them during the warmer months because they reduce breathability—especially when paired with Pilgrim or Woodsman trousers, which can already feel hot in temperatures above 18ºC. The templates printed on the packaging allow you to trim the pads to size, ensuring a proper fit for various trouser models.

The knee and elbow pads do their job and provide good protection. I use them together with the Helikon-Tex MCDU DyNyCo Rip-Stop trousers in RAL 7013, where they fit well and stay securely in place. The only drawback is that they get rather warm during prolonged wear. I am therefore considering adding small ventilation holes in the areas where the knees do not rest, in order to reduce heat build-up somewhat.

I bought the inserts together with Helikon trousers and they fit perfectly, they're so comfortable that you can't feel them while wearing. They work brilliantly when kneeling for longer periods. I definitely recommend them.

Bought together with the UTP Flex Trousers, could be used without major problems. For other trouser models, corresponding patterns are provided on the packaging. The protectors themselves are only partially useful as knee protection and resemble a thin yoga mat you kneel on. For quick kneeling or sliding on your knees, you should only use hard knee pads.

I bought the protective inserts together with Helikon trousers. They are soft and look high-quality. However, it seems the price is too high. In summer, your knees will get hot, as they don’t let air through. These are not suitable for full knee protection; in that case, it’s better to get good external knee pads. Eventually, I opted for Alta for tough conditions, bought them with a nice discount from Militaria).

Good inserts, they can be an alternative to external knee pads and effectively absorb shocks during less intensive activities. Additionally, they provide good thermal insulation.

I have already had the opportunity to use these inserts before – they do their job as they should. This is not the first set I’ve bought from you. I use your trousers when riding a scooter and these inserts effectively protect my knees from the cold.
-
The knee pads work well with the MCDU NyCo trousers, although placing them is made more difficult by the small opening near the knee in the trousers... Nevertheless, overall I am satisfied.

These Low Profile inserts are perfect for those who want knee or elbow protection without the bulk of heavy models. They easily slip into the designated pockets on MBDU trousers and you completely forget about them once they’re in place. They’re really effective at protecting your joints when kneeling on hard or rocky ground. Comfort is spot on and they don’t hinder leg movement at all while walking.
-
Very good quality knee pads for the price, lightweight, easy to cut to fit thanks for the included template. Comfortable to kneel down on. I would definitely recommend them.
-
Good quality knee pads, lightweight, material is not deteriorating after multiple uses. Also it dries fast after washing or after getting wet when out in the field. Good size, I can use them in multiple pants with different pocket sizes.
-
Very good knee pads, I use them together with MCDU trousers and they effectively protect the knees from hard and sharp surfaces when kneeling. They are exceptionally lightweight, easy to trim and use. I definitely recommend them!
-
The protectors are lightweight, invisible, and very comfortable to wear. They fit perfectly in your trouser pockets without restricting movement. They provide extra safety and comfort, and their build quality is very solid. This is a useful gadget that is definitely worth trying.

I ordered the knee pads mainly for my Woodsman pants. Overall, I am very satisfied, especially in wet and cold weather—they effectively prevent the trousers from getting soaked through to the skin when kneeling and also protect well against cold wind. However, as soon as it gets warmer, you quickly start to sweat around the knee pad area.
