Helikon-Tex Husky Tactical Winter Jacket - Alpha Green

Winter jacket made of 100% nylon with Rip-Stop weave, intended for use in operational activities. Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 100 g/m2 on the torso and sleeves and 67 g/m2 in the hood provides effective thermal protection even when wet, allowing the jacket to be used in different weather conditions. The Husky Tactical Winter Jacket is a winter garment designed for police and other uniformed services working in low temperatures.

Adjustable cuffs, thermal strip, and chin guard

At the bottom of the jacket and at the cuffs there is elastic adjustment. The design allows the hood to be tucked in, enabling it to be worn with helmets. The jacket is fastened with a two-way YKK zipper with a thermal strip and chin guard, providing protection against the cold.

The Husky model is easy to compress and pack without the risk of losing its properties.

Multiple pockets, ID panels

On the chest, there are pockets with D-rings and compartments for electronic devices. In the upper part of the jacket, internal pockets for documents and personal items have been sewn in, as well as two lower internal pockets.

The jacket is equipped with three concealed ID panels that can be revealed for identification purposes.

Quick Side Access System

The jacket features the QSA (Quick Side Access) system, which allows for quick and smooth access to tactical accessories mounted on the belt (from both sides). This enables efficient reach for essential operational equipment or other accessories, significantly affecting response time in threat situations.

Set elements

The set includes a compression sack that allows for quick packing and convenient storage.

This coat is a great choice. The materials, attention to detail, and precision are on par with brands like Geox or similar. I bought it with tactics in mind, but it’s also good for everyday use. It’s very warm, light, and very well made. Highly recommended.

I agree – it's worth ordering a smaller size. I'm glad I called the seller first for advice. He recommended size M, even though I usually wear L, and it was the right choice. I agree with the other buyers' opinions. The jacket is incredibly light and very well designed. The collar fits closely to my neck and it is very warm. The price is high, but in my opinion fully justified, and it also looks great :-)

The jacket is very warm and surprisingly light. Another plus is the included pouch for the jacket. After a year of use, my only complaint is the weapon access system – it works a bit stiffly and doesn't always succeed on the first try, but you get used to it over time. Despite this minor flaw, I definitely recommend it, as the jacket is very well thought out.

Really good jacket from a Polish manufacturer. Perfect for operational activities, very warm, and provides adequate thermal comfort during winter. It’s not the cheapest, but it's a purchase for many years.

I've had this jacket for two years. It's comfortable, warm, and fairly resistant to moisture. Unfortunately, it doesn’t wick sweat well, so it’s not suitable for activities more intense than walking. The main zip and a looser, longer collar (like in ski jackets) could be improved. With the hood tucked in, it's hard to zip it up comfortably. On the plus side – the number of pockets is enough for anyone. The cut is rather loose, but comfortable.

After a month of use, I haven't noticed any flaws. I'm 198 cm tall and the XXL size could be a bit longer at the back. The material is of very good quality. With temperatures down to -10 degrees, having only a T-shirt underneath, I wasn’t cold at all. Highly recommended.

I bought it with hiking and duty during winter and early spring in mind. I hope it will be warm. I'll share my opinion later on how it performs in use. The colour is a bit too light for my taste – I'd prefer a darker shade of green, but the cut of the jacket really suits me.

The jacket is great – light and, at the same time, keeps you really warm. A big plus is the pockets and quick access to your weapon. The size fits perfectly, and you can easily wear a vest over it. A small downside is the lack of velcro panels on the sleeves.

During an eight-hour mountain hike in near-zero temperatures and rain or snow, wearing only a thermal shirt underneath, I was warm all the time as long as I kept moving. The pockets are large and spacious, and once packed into a compression bag, the jacket takes up very little space compared to its size. Unfortunately, the pocket waterproofing could be better – for example, a cotton balaclava in a side pocket got slightly wet. In the pocket for an ID, even with the zip closed, money kept inside got wet.

The jacket is very warm and has a lot of practical pockets – both outside and inside. I opted for black because coyote was no longer available. Now I understand why there are so many black ones... At 175 cm tall with a chest around 114 cm, I could have easily ordered an S, I took an M and it's a bit too big. The jacket fits well around the neck, so there’s no wind getting in. Overall, I recommend it, but probably not in black.

The jacket is very well made. I used it for work, and recently bought one for myself – I really recommend it, especially for people who handle weapons!

This is really a great jacket. I bought it with driving a car in mind and since then I haven't used any other. Both the pockets, the cut and the comfort – I rate everything the maximum number of points.

This is an improved version of the Climashield 7 jacket. When I tried on the Husky, I noticed that Helikon has made another step forward compared to the 7. For an extra 70 zloty, you get more pockets that can be used in various ways, and the option of quickly unzipping the side to access a weapon or accessories. Both models are extremely warm – even sometimes too warm for an average Polish winter. Definitely worth buying!

The jacket is very good, but I chose the wrong size and had to return it. I’ll exchange it for a smaller one.
