A set consisting of two side panels to connect the back and front of the vest. The universal design makes them fit most models of Plate Carrier vests with Velcro on the front. Handles made of Hypalon facilitate quick fastening and unfastening of the panels.

The set comes with an additional harness and panels equipped with quick-release buckles with non-slip grips, which allow you to instantly unbuckle and drop the vest in emergency situations.

The straps are manufactured from durable mesh, which provides good ventilation, even with the accouterment attached. The middle section of the belt includes a stiffener made of Hypalon material with non-slip properties, which increases the stability of the equipment carried.

Thanks to its compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system, it is possible to attach additional pockets, pouches and other elements of accouterment. Hypalon handles improve handling of the set, and adjusting and removing the vest is facilitated by durable polymer snaps.

    Quieter, more efficient, and faster than cummerbunds with velcro. The buckles are made from solid materials, resistant to pulling and pressing, and they do not become deformed. They work smoothly and make putting on and taking off the vest much easier.

    Previously, I used standard hook and loop cummerbunds. After a friend’s suggestion, I decided to try the version with a buckle and it was a great choice! The craftsmanship is very careful and precise. Helikon, as always, does not disappoint. I use them together with the Helikon Guardian vest.     The cummerbund is solidly made with great attention to detail. The buckle is sturdy, and the edges of the soft and hard Velcro are carefully finished. Thanks to the use of mesh, the side belt is lighter than traditional full models.

    The panels work very well, I honestly recommend them – the difference compared to the version with Velcro is huge. However, the question of whether the panel is worth the money remains open, especially since you could get an entire vest for that price – probably not.     This solution definitely surpasses standard cummerbunds with Velcro. You only need to adjust the width once, which makes putting it on much faster and more comfortable. Now I can't imagine a vest without such a system!

    Helikon Guardian Cummerbund Quick Release side panels work perfectly with vests mainly used during the day. They can easily be fastened or unfastened quickly, but at night, when it is dark, this becomes more difficult.
