Previously, I used standard hook and loop cummerbunds. After a friend’s suggestion, I decided to try the version with a buckle and it was a great choice! The craftsmanship is very careful and precise. Helikon, as always, does not disappoint. I use them together with the Helikon Guardian vest. I definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to try buckle cummerbunds.

The cummerbund is solidly made with great attention to detail. The buckle is sturdy, and the edges of the soft and hard Velcro are carefully finished. Thanks to the use of mesh, the side belt is lighter than traditional full models.

The panels work very well, I honestly recommend them – the difference compared to the version with Velcro is huge. However, the question of whether the panel is worth the money remains open, especially since you could get an entire vest for that price – probably not. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the purchase.

This solution definitely surpasses standard cummerbunds with Velcro. You only need to adjust the width once, which makes putting it on much faster and more comfortable. Now I can't imagine a vest without such a system!

Helikon Guardian Cummerbund Quick side panels allow for lightning-fast putting on and taking off of the vest. I use these panels together with the Helikon Guardian vest and I am very satisfied. I highly recommend them!

Helikon Guardian Cummerbund Quick Release side panels work perfectly with vests mainly used during the day. They can easily be fastened or unfastened quickly, but at night, when it is dark, this becomes more difficult.
