Great value for money. For several years now, I've been wearing my third or fourth pair of these trousers in various shades. They are durable: the material is solid and the seams are strong. The side pockets on the thighs, which can hold a standard smartphone, are an unusual solution. Well thought out – when I'm sitting, the phone doesn't dig into my body and remains easily accessible because the pocket is on the front. The Velcro fastening is sturdy and allows you to adjust the waist by about 2 cm, and there's an elastic band at the back. Thanks to this, the trousers offer a wide range of adjustment without losing their shape. For a height of 180 cm and a waist circumference of 96 cm, size L Long fits perfectly, and previously with a waist of 90 cm, M Long was right for me. They have durable belt loops and a metal zip in the fly.

So having been previously guilty of kit accumulation I now have a system for assessing kit. The triple F. Fit Form Function:- Fit:- Excellent. I’m 174 H / 78 Kg. Large fits very well indeed. Happy with the Fit. Comfortable to wear all day not too hot on warm spring day. Fabric comfortable to sit in again like the feel to a pair of chinos. You can dress up or down to suit without loss of practicality. Form:- Exactly what I wanted as name suggests you can be the grey man in what looks like a pair of quality chinos not a CIA operative that’s just stepped off a chopper. Low profile no bellows pockets (more on pockets in “Function”). Function:- Pockets EDC no problem. Plenty and good size well placed. Even when loaded doesn’t compromise the greyman concept. Material and stitching are quality. So far so good. I suspect they will wear well and more robust than regular chinos with a much better more secure load out. And now Acknowledging the excellent service, very timely delivery with exceptional tracking updates. You have me as a repeat customer based on this. Very well done indeed. Great purchase, as usual Helikon did not disappoint me. The trousers performed excellently during transitional weather – not too warm, not too cold. Solid workmanship and a large number of pockets, including a side pocket that easily fits a phone, are definite advantages.

I am 1.77m tall, my inside leg is 80 cm and my waist is 90 cm. I bought it in size M but after using it I realised I should have gone for M long as, although the length is perfect at the ankles, it is too tight at the waist and crotch. So I recommend choosing the long size for more comfort and freedom of movement. Apart from that, it's great, although it does get dirty a bit too quickly for my liking.
