A great, very well-designed product that can be used in many ways: as a waist pack, an extra pocket for a backpack, or a shoulder bag. I use it as a carrier for a one-litre Helikon bottle, gloves, a few energy bars, and a scarf. In another configuration, it fits a Mil-Tec sleeping bag liner, which works well indoors all year round. It can also easily hold a Gore-Tex jacket and trousers. In my opinion, it is one of the better products — made of ripstop material, with a rubberised interior, additional shock cords, and PALS webbing. I take it to work, into the woods, and on every trip; I practically always have it with me.

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
Woojin buckles are a type of buckles and fasteners made of high-quality materials such as polyamide or polypropylene, which ensures durability and weather resistance. They are widely used in the manufacture of backpacks, bags, clothing and tactical gear, providing sturdy, reliable and easy-to-use fasteners.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

Review summary
The Helikon Foxhole 4.5l bag earns strong praise for its versatility, generous capacity, and robust build quality. Customers value its ability to attach to a rucksack or be worn independently with the MOLLE/PALS system. Lightweight and compact, it serves well as a bum bag, an extra backpack pocket, or a shoulder bag. It accommodates a jacket, tarp, poncho, or other essentials, and the materials keep contents well-protected from dampness. Some users note the drawback of plastic clips rather than classic molle straps, which may affect stability during vigorous use, and the strap may be too short for very slim individuals. Most reviewers recommend this bag for short trips, bushcraft, or EDC, thanks to its high functionality and attractive price.

This is another great purchase from Helikon. The bag is made of durable material and carefully finished. It is lightweight and, when folded, does not take up much space. Thanks to the universal attachment system, it can serve as a standalone bum bag or tactical bag, as well as an additional cargo pocket attached to backpacks and vests.

Great bag! At first I had some doubts before buying it, but after just a few days of use I decided it was an excellent choice. It provides easy and quick access, it can be carried on its own or attached to a rucksack, it is made of sturdy material, and when folded it takes up very little space.

A very good bag that can be worn as a bum bag, a sack, or a single-strap backpack. It has a closure similar to the one used on waterproof dry bags, so opening and closing it is quick and convenient. It is made from sturdy, thick ripstop material. It easily fits all of my EDC. As a soft sack, it looks best when it has something in it.

Super useful small bag that can be worn either as a bum bag or crossbody Has clips to attach onto a molle bag aswell I use it as my shelter bag where it holds my helikon supertarp , cordage groundsheet and hammock spreader bars If Helikon could make a dry bag version of this i would buy that aswell Usual Helikon quality and value Worth buying for sure

Useful bag. Good size for convenient carry. Be aware, however, that the clips are pretty weak and break easily, but they can be replaced easily. Otherwise, I'm happy with it

Great, lightweight bag! Thanks to the attachment system, it can be fastened to a backpack or a MOLLE belt, and the adjustable strap makes it possible to carry it separately. It works perfectly for a water bottle, a jacket, and small items. The material is durable, I definitely recommend it!

The Helikon-Tex Foxhole bag is great) for this price, it's a very versatile pouch that can be attached to a backpack or carried as a bag. It is definitely worth its price, especially with the discount from Militaria.

A very functional and well-made bag. When folded, it takes up very little space, so it works brilliantly when extra luggage space is needed. The material and the ability to attach it in several different ways are a big plus.

I was looking for and found a great storage place for my Grayl Geopress. Great bag from Helikon-Tex. 👍😊 Maybe I'll come up with something else to use the bag for on future outings. 🤷🏽♂️

Very high quality and useful item, although I don't use it every day, it is still very handy and always kept as a backup. It is perfect for jackets during the cold season and also does a great job as an organiser for a backpack.
-
A very versatile bag, can be used as a shoulder bag, on a belt, or attached to a backpack with a strap or molle loops. I have the impression that it is also waterproof for light rain. Really practical!

This is another Helikon Tex product that I have purchased. The company offers products at a moderate price and good quality, which makes their price to quality ratio favourable. I rate this bag similarly – it's great for storing a sweatshirt and provides easy access.

I am very satisfied with this bag and its functionality – it doesn’t add much weight to the luggage, and it allows you to take a spare jacket or increase the capacity of your backpack without having to carry large bags or a big backpack.
