As a woman, I searched for a long time for a backpack that would have a military look, yet be suitable for everyday use in the city. I also wanted it to be comfortable and anatomically designed, with a universal size – suitable both for trips and for work. I think I have finally found such a model. I appreciate that Helikon is starting to offer more and more products with women in mind. As for the backpack itself: the Coyote colour appeals to me a lot, the chest strap is well thought out, and the backpack – whether empty or loaded (e.g. with three litres of water) – sits well on my back and is comfortable to carry. Additionally, I bought an organiser for small items. I think that if you are looking for a sturdy urban backpack that will also work for weekends, this model is really worth attention. Previously, I had a 16-litre backpack from another Polish brand and it was nice too, but turned out to be too small.

Camouflage Flecktarn
Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern, officially introduced for use by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black and beige. With the distribution of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between the colors, Flecktarn effectively distracts from the wearer's silhouette in forest terrain, as well as in scrubland or against the background of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was designed for European climatic conditions, especially for the temperate zone. To this day, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army, other military and police officers. Its effectiveness has led to numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.

In my opinion, this is the best backpack in the 20-25L size, outstanding in terms of price to quality. The material is real Cordura, sturdy YKK zippers, Wojin plastic elements, and excellent back stiffening – at this promotional price, it’s worth taking without hesitation. This is another Helikon backpack for me, and once again I am very satisfied. I needed something between a 10L and a 35L backpack, and this one works perfectly. Another important plus is the subdued, civilian appearance, and the fact that it’s a Polish manufacturer. I wanted to check out Wisport, but for this amount I could have three Helikon backpacks, so the choice is obvious. I recommend it to everyone.

The backpack in Rhodesian Camo looks fantastic in real life. This pattern has a unique, classic character and is rarely seen on the streets or trails, which definitely makes the backpack stand out. The 21-litre capacity works perfectly for everyday use as well as for short, one-day trips.

The backpack is very spacious and offers a lot of options for configuring your gear, especially after buying extra dividers, organisers, or hook-and-loop accessories. You can also easily move hook-and-loop pouches from a vest into it, even from manufacturers other than Helikon. For me, the lack of factory-sewn or pre-installed dividers is a big advantage rather than a drawback, because I can organise the interior exactly the way I want and freely rotate my gear 😀. Importantly, you can also use pouches from other shops, even from Decathlon — you can see that from the yellow item inside the backpack 😀. I also have a Primal pouch for two magazines, a small pouch, and an M-Tac waist pack attached at the bottom, which also works well because it has a Velcro panel too, and I can attach whatever I want to it 😀. I also used the MOLLE system to add more pockets, and it’s a shame that there were only the last two left in this pattern on the website 😞, because a third one would have easily fitted on the front as well 😀. Even when fully loaded, the backpack is very comfortable to carry and I don’t feel tired, which is actually surprising to me 😀 — of course, that’s a big plus. The sale price, around 200 PLN, is excellent for a backpack like this. However, 360 PLN for the backpack alone is, in my opinion, too much, especially since you still have to buy extra pockets. Backpack 200 PLN (+/-) Panel 80 PLN (+/-) Primal 40 PLN (+/-) = 320 PLN (+/-), not 360 PLN for the backpack alone. I’m not counting the other extras because I already had them and used them for my own interior setup 😀. For me, that’s an advantage, not a drawback 😀. I was able to tailor everything to my own preferences, and that actually matters a lot to me 😀. I recommend buying this backpack while it’s still available at this price, because it’s really a good deal. It’s also worth getting other accessories for it at the same time 😀, unless you already have them 😀.

The Helikon-Tex EDC Cordura 21 L (Rhodesian Camo) is a highly durable urban and outdoor backpack made from premium Cordura material, standing out for its excellent ergonomics and well-thought-out internal organisation. I managed to get it for around CZK 700, which is an absolute steal. You just need to factor in the need to buy additional accessories.

Great backpack – it’s the right size, comfortable, and very solidly made. Overall, I’m very satisfied. The delivery, as always, was very fast. I recommend the militaria.pl shop, where I’ve been shopping for many years. My son is also satisfied.

This backpack is definitely worth recommending. Helikon usually maintains a high standard, but in this case the quality is truly exceptional. The sturdy stitching, very well-thought-out design, and even the carefully finished plastic details clearly show that the product is solidly made. A major advantage is the rigid construction based on two side panels and a metal flat bar in the middle. The stiffener can be removed from the inside, which makes washing easier. The interior is admittedly quite empty, which may be a minor drawback, but this results from the backpack being designed for a whole series of organisers, making it easy to adapt to individual needs and arrange equipment conveniently.

This is a very good backpack. It is the right size for me, comfortable, and solidly made. The price could be a little lower, but everything is getting more expensive now, so that is hard to be surprised about. Overall, I am satisfied with it. The parcel arrived very quickly, as always. I recommend the military shop, where I have been shopping for many years.

A very good backpack. It is made of durable material that does not shine like standard nylon. It has an excellently designed, versatile system that allows you to conveniently arrange various pockets and organisers. At the promotional price, you can put together the backpack with the three most essential organisers for less than the backpack alone costs at the regular price.

Just unpacked: Very well made, high-quality materials were used. Much larger than expected. Unfortunately, rain flaps were sewn on—the best way to ruin zips. The first snags appeared on the very first opening and closing. Otherwise recommended.

A very successful rucksack — sturdy, durable, and clearly well made. For a 21L capacity, it holds quite a lot; even with my older, less optimised kit, there is still some room left. Admittedly, for this size it is fairly heavy, but that is an acceptable trade-off for the confidence that my gear will not let me down. I mainly take it into the woods, and so far it is the most comfortable rucksack I have had.
-
Very high quality workmanship. Big plus for the solidity and numerous configuration options thanks to the molle system. Helikon has gained my trust, now I usually choose their products. I definitely recommend it.
-
Great purchase decision. The backpack is very well made, from high-quality materials. After adding two organisers inside, it's ready to use. With the current promotion, I simply had to buy it. Highly recommend!
-
The backpack is very functional for everyday use, combining comfort with durable construction. Made from solid materials, it has practically-placed pockets and presents itself as a product suitable for long-term use.

I have been using the Helikon-Tex EDC Cordura 21 l backpack for some time now and I am very satisfied with this decision. The backpack is carefully made, the Cordura looks like a very strong material, and the seams and zippers are exceptionally durable. The 21-litre capacity works perfectly for everyday use: for work, cycling or day trips. Even with heavier loads, the backpack remains comfortable and fits well on the back, and its interior can be flexibly organised using the Velcro panel. An additional advantage is the presence of the MOLLE system, which allows for the attachment of extra pouches. It's a product worth its price – I recommend it to anyone who needs a solid and versatile EDC backpack.
