The trousers are excellent, made from high-quality material and have practical pockets. I have been using them daily for a long time, including in the forest, and have not noticed any wear. However, you have to be careful when using the size chart.
Helikon-Tex BDU PolyCotton Rip-Stop Trousers - Olive Green
BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) in Olive Green, designed with functionality and high-quality craftsmanship in mind. The model features six pockets and an adjustable waistband, ensuring comfort.
PolyCotton fabric reinforced with Rip-Stop weave
Made from PolyCotton Rip-Stop fabric (60% cotton, 40% polyester), with a grammage of 215 g/m2. This fabric is lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton fabric. Thanks to the Rip-Stop weave, reinforced by weaving in thicker fibres that create a distinctive checkered pattern, tear and abrasion resistance is increased. Additional reinforcements in the buttocks and knees areas increase the durability of the trousers.
6 Spacious Pockets
The model features 6 pockets:
- two inset hip pockets
- two back pockets fastened with two buttons
- two spacious cargo pockets
Adjustable waistband, legs with straps
The fly is secured with buttons. The adjustable waistband with side straps ensures a better fit. Nylon straps are attached to the bottom of the legs, allowing the trousers to be secured around the leg or shoe.

PoliCotton fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton fibers featuring the best qualities of both yarns. Polyester provides strength and flexibility, while cotton provides softness and breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

The product is made with the highest attention to detail, it is very light and at the same time durable. The Olive Green colour looks nice, although the photo does not fully reflect it correctly. The L Long size seems a bit too wide and it would be better if it were longer.
-
The trousers are made of high-quality material, and the numerous pockets are a huge plus. The price is also extremely favourable, as it's currently hard to find something this affordable. I highly recommend them to everyone.

The Helikon trousers are of great quality. I've had them for a long time and they perform without any issues – they are as durable as all the company’s products. The only drawback is the fairly wide legs at the bottom, but it is easy to tuck in boots even with a smaller circumference.
-
I've had these trousers for a few weeks. On the downside: the actual measurements don’t match the size chart – I always order according to the chart, but here the trousers are too wide at the waist and the legs are too baggy (like in the M65s). However, I won’t return them, I'll keep them for wearing around the house. The rest is positive: great quality of workmanship, no loose threads, the material is strong and doesn’t fray.

Well-made and durable trousers, I have been using them for a year. After many washes and exposure to the sun, the colour still looks new, belt loops and buttons are intact. Very comfortable and good value for money.

A year ago I bought Helikon trousers in olive shade as a replacement for my black, service cargo trousers. I am very satisfied with their quality and practicality. The pockets are sturdy; none got damaged on the thighs. The trousers are comfortable, durable, and definitely worth recommending!
-
The trousers meet my expectations. They have a lot of pockets and are made from strong material. The waistband drawstring improves the fit. The legs could be more tapered. I recommend this product.
-
The trousers are very comfortable. The spacious pockets are not an issue, even when full. You have to sew on the buttons yourself, as they're poorly attached from the factory. Sizes can sometimes be odd – ordering your usual size can be misleading, but returns and exchanges are very fast. The fabric creases less than 100% cotton trousers of this type.
-
The trousers I bought on sale met my expectations. A big plus is the wide choice of sizes and the LONG option. The only drawback for me is the legs are too wide in this cut.
-
The trousers are well-made and solidly constructed; this isn't my first pair, so I have something to compare. Unfortunately, the sizing provided by Helikon varies greatly – each batch or version can differ, and the numbering often doesn't match the actual dimensions. According to the table, I should pick XL, but in fact, L fits perfectly (I'm 180 cm and 102 cm waist). Plus for the Militaria shop – exchange and return were quick and trouble-free, and contact was very good.

I had the opportunity to use Helikon BDU trousers in various situations – both out in the field and during training exercises. I’ll share my comments: Comfort: The trousers are comfortable, the material is light yet durable and performs well with intensive use. The cut provides excellent freedom of movement. Functionality: Numerous pockets, including on the thighs, are very good for storing essential accessories. The zip works fine even in tougher conditions. Resistance: When tested in rain and mud, the material dried quickly and didn’t wear through – the trousers are suitable for different conditions. Appearance: Plenty of colours and camouflage patterns to choose from, they look good both outdoors and every day. Summary: Helikon BDU trousers are a comfortable, practical, reliable choice – after several months I recommend them to anyone who values quality and comfort. They're an investment for years to come.

The trousers fit well. Lots of practical pockets. Faultless quality, they're comfortable and I have no complaints. Absolutely worth their price, plus an extra point for being a product of a Polish company.
-
I bought the camo XXL Long model (there was no regular XXL). I’m 185 cm tall with a bit of extra weight (over 100 kg). I was worried I’d need to shorten the trousers. They're long, but just right for tying under the foot and tucking into boots. The material seems a bit synthetic for 60% cotton, but makes a solid impression. It's a pity there isn’t a Coyote XXL – I’d definitely buy that colour too.

The trousers are perfectly made and look great. The quality is very high, really solid. The colour matches the picture exactly. Really worth buying!
