A set for washing down garments. It includes Grangers Down Wash 300 ml and three soft balls for shredding down while drying. The balls are added to tumble dry (if the manufacturer allows them). They scatter wet, clumped down as the drum spins, making drying easier and faster. The down becomes fluffy again and distributed evenly in the chambers.
The Grangers Down Wash effectively eliminates dirt and odours without damaging the down. It restores washed items to their original fluffiness, breathability and thermal insulation properties. It cares for down and does not remove its natural fat. The concentrated formula allows you to wash more clothes and sleeping bags, and is eco-friendly.
The Grangers Down Wash is designed primarily for washing equipment with natural down fill, but it can also be used to clean synthetic insulation.
Using Down Wash may slightly reduce waterproofing. Renewal of the water-repellent coating is generally necessary every 10 washes with Grangers.

The product works very well. The laundry balls prevent the down from clumping while washing. Clothes after washing are refreshed and fluffier than before. I use it once a year to wash down jackets, sleeping bags and synthetic down.
