A very solid item. I think that even in the hands of someone inexperienced it could be effective. The only downside is the very stiff clip. For everyday writing, something from a stationery shop would be better, although you can also write with this pen.

Tactical pen for self-defence by ESP, made from durable and lightweight 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum. The body is coated with a black protective finish, enhancing resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion.
Equipped with a replaceable refill with a 0.5 mm line width, it allows for precise writing in all conditions. At the end is a glass breaker hidden beneath the rubber tip of the aglet – made of durable tungsten carbide, it can be used in emergency situations.
The non-slip, textured surface ensures a secure grip and comfortable use. The spring-loaded clip allows the pen to be quickly attached to a pocket, belt or accouterment, making it easy to carry around on a daily basis.

Writing is comfortable, the pen is solid, although I haven't tried breaking glass with it yet :) I recommend it.
