Esbit is a German brand with over 75 years of experience, whose history begins with the invention of solid fuel by Erich Schumm in 1936. The lightweight, folding stoves and efficient fuel tablets quickly gained recognition among mountaineers and soldiers, including during World War II. Today's offerings include, among others, modern thermoses, cups and bottles, made of resistant stainless steel and equipped with vacuum insulation technology. Solutions such as Vacuum thermoses and Food Jug containers allow drinks and meals to remain hot for a long time, even in harsh conditions. Esbit products are BPA-free, easy to clean and designed for heavy daily use. The brand is one of the pioneers in the field of compact solutions – one of its breakthroughs was the pocket kitchen set, designed for solo expeditions and maximum mobility.

I have used only spirit stoves for trips for over two years. I bought this model because my previous Mil-Tec one broke. This one seems much more robust. It's good that it has a flame cover. The interior of the stove is better made than in cheaper models. There is a noticeable higher quality, as much as you can say that about a piece of sheet metal with holes. Maybe one day I'll invest in a Trangia system, but for now this stove for 70 PLN will last many years in all weather conditions. It's also worth getting a grate and windscreen – this isn't a big expense and really improves convenience, especially in autumn or winter. I use about 5 litres of biofuel per season and have a ready solution for trips. It's probably not a product for those who want to cook quickly, but I value peace and a leisurely pace in the forest.

The stove is very well made and lightweight. I think it’s the best choice for short trips on the market, but it will also do during longer journeys. The only downside is that you need to shield it from the wind for it to work efficiently, but that's not a big problem.

I boiled two litres of water in the kettle in 10-12 minutes, but that was indoors. Outside or in the forest, it would be necessary to shield the flame from the wind. The stove is efficient! I didn't notice any leaks when it's closed, but just to be safe, it's worth keeping it in a ziplock bag. Highly recommended – great burner!

Very good spirit stove, works flawlessly and gives a lot of power. Compared to other brands, a plus is that the flame extinguisher lid has a handle, which makes it easier to remove, especially when the flame is strong.

The metal is thicker than in Chinese equivalents, the weight is right. Heats and boils water or drinks very well. A stove like this should always be at hand as you never know about the availability of other fuel sources.

The stove works properly. Unfortunately, the screw-on cap holds very loosely and it's easy to cross-thread it, which makes transporting fuel in the stove risky – probably due to too thick a gasket. Other than that, I'm happy. Boiling 0.8 litres of water with denatured alcohol and no windscreen takes about 10 minutes.

In my opinion, this is an excellent product. Worth recommending, solid, made of brass, and well designed. The lid holds firmly. The flame adjustment is very practical and the handle doesn't heat up. It's comfortable to use. Tested with several fuels – ethanol, denatured alcohol, extraction gasoline and lighter fuel (the latter smokes a bit). The maximum safe capacity according to the manufacturer is 70 ml, which depending on fuel and conditions is enough for about 25-30 minutes of operation.

The stove is very aesthetically made and you can feel the good quality. Tested with bioethanol and a Miltec stand – it's a great set. An extra plus is the flame extinguisher cap.

Of course, you can buy a Chinese version, but at this price, it's not worth risking uncertain alternatives. The product is well made, leak-proof and seems quite durable.

Excellent quality stove. It's a bit heavier than Chinese alternatives, but clearly better made. The double lid is a nice addition – one of them (without gasket) can be used to extinguish the flame.

This is the best alcohol stove I've used. Everything is very well thought out. I definitely recommend it to everyone, it's really worth having.

At first, I had doubts about the usefulness of this stove, but I quickly changed my mind! I think it's worth having just in case when travelling, especially when other fuels are unavailable. I recommend it.

The stove is solidly and aesthetically made, giving a retro feel while camping. In terms of technicalities, it is leak-proof, so you can safely pour in fuel and carry it in your backpack – it’s the ideal lightweight solution for day trips, for example by bike. It's one of the smallest stove variants possible, only those for solid fuel tablets are probably smaller. The spirit stove has an advantage because it can boil a litre of water in above-zero temperatures. I’ve also tested it at about 0°C and it boiled 0.75l without a problem. You need to remember that it is very susceptible to wind, so it's worth having a folding windscreen or shielding it yourself, e.g., with a backpack. It works well with bioethanol for fireplaces – produces little smoke, is eco-friendly, and costs about 15-18 PLN per litre. It holds about 50-70 ml of fuel, which, depending on conditions, is enough for about 20-30 minutes of burning (at home I boiled 750 ml in 9 minutes). Personally, I highly recommend this little stove.

Well made and, most importantly, the gasket effectively prevents leaks.

The stove works very well, and most importantly – the gasket is effective, so the fuel doesn’t leak. It's worth getting a wire grid to cook more easily.
