MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its aim was to develop a universal concealment pattern effective in diverse terrains and changing environmental conditions. MultiCam consists of seven colours, creating gradient transitions between green, brown, and beige. This way, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on green hues in forests or browns and beiges in desert regions - for example, in Central and Eastern Europe, it works particularly well in autumn and in arid vegetative areas. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by many military forces and special units. In 2010, this camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available for civilian users, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
