MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to develop a universal camo pattern effective in diverse terrains and changing environmental conditions. MultiCam consists of seven colors, forming gradient transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. This way, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting green shades in forests or browns and beiges in desert regions - for example, it works particularly well in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn and in dry vegetation areas. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by many armed forces and special units. In 2010, this camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as a pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available for civilian users, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts or airsoft fans.
