Direct Action Vanguard Over-Shell Jacket - MultiCam
Tactical hardshell jacket in MultiCam camouflage, made from durable nylon. The 3L membrane protects against precipitation while supporting the transfer of excess heat and moisture. The fit was designed for wear over a plate carrier, and snaps stabilise the jacket on accoutrement. A quick-release zip allows it to be removed quickly. The adjustable hood can be fitted over a helmet and additional equipment, while side zips provide ventilation during exertion. The jacket features four pockets and two pass-through pockets for easier access to carried equipment and to the pockets of garments worn underneath the jacket.
durable nylon
The outer layer of the jacket is made from durable nylon with hydrophobic properties that slow water penetration into the inner clothing layers. Shoulder reinforcements increase resistance to wear during intensive use. The back construction was developed for wearing a vest with a rear panel under the jacket without unnecessarily restricting freedom of movement.
3 L MEMBRANE
The model uses a three-layer 3 L membrane, providing waterproofness of 25000 mm water column and breathability of 15000 g/m2/24h. It protects against adverse weather conditions while supporting the transfer of excess heat and moisture. Side zips allow additional ventilation during intense exertion.
Spacious pockets
The jacket is equipped with four pockets: two on the shoulders and two on the front. Two additional pass-through pockets provide access to equipment carried under the jacket. This solution makes it easier to use the pockets of the base layer without having to remove the hardshell.
two-way zip, stabilising snaps
The jacket is equipped with a full-length zip, which makes it easier to put on and take off the garment. The fit of the jacket was adapted for wear over a plate carrier ballistic vest. Snaps placed in the upper and middle sections help stabilise the jacket on accoutrement, reducing its shifting during movement. The applied quick-release zip allows the jacket to be removed efficiently when needed. The applied quick-release zip allows the jacket to be removed efficiently when needed.
Stowable hood, adjustable side panels
The jacket fit is adjusted using side panels and a waist strap fastened with a buckle. Adjustable cuffs help reduce heat loss and fit the garment to the body and other clothing layers. This solution makes it easier to adapt the jacket to the way accoutrement is worn and to current conditions of use. The model is also equipped with an adjustable hood made from membrane fabric. Its construction was designed for use with a helmet and additional equipment.
velcro panels
Velcro panels are placed on the shoulders, allowing any emblems to be attached, such as a national flag, unit insignia, so-called Morale Patches, or an IR patch.

MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior programme. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on green tones in forested terrain or brown and beige tones in desert areas - in the environment of Central and Eastern Europe, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military surplus and airsoft enthusiasts.
