Direct Action Vanguard Access Insulation Jacket - MultiCam
Winter jacket in MultiCam camouflage providing insulation and protection against the cold even in very low temperatures. The synthetic Climashield Comfort Plus insulation used retains its properties even when wet, while the outer material increases the fabric's resistance to tears. The model works well as an insulating layer during tactical operations, field exercises, and work in low temperatures. A well-thought-out zip layout, adjustment elements, and compatibility with a plate carrier allow the thermal insulation to be used without the need to remove basic accoutrement.
Climashield Comfort Plus insulation and outer material
The jacket uses filling made of lightweight synthetic Climashield Comfort Plus insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2, which translates into thermal comfort even during severe frost. The insulation retains its properties even when wet and dries quickly. The outer material is made of 100% nylon, which is characterised by resistance to damage and tears.
Spacious pockets
The jacket is equipped with a total of 4 spacious pockets:
- two hip pockets
- two shoulder pockets
two-way zip, pass-through pockets
The jacket is equipped with a two-way zip running the full length of the front and side zips that make it easier to put on and take off the garment without needing to remove a tactical vest. The side zips also provide access to equipment carried under the jacket. The pass-through pockets allow access to inner clothing pockets or elements of accoutrement without unzipping the insulating layer.
Stowable hood, adjustable side panels
The fit of the jacket can be adjusted using side panels and a waist strap fastened with a buckle. The adjustable hem helps reduce heat loss and better fit the garment to the body shape and the other clothing layers. This solution makes it easier to adapt the jacket to the way accoutrement is worn and to current conditions of use. The model is also equipped with an adjustable hood made of membrane material. Its construction is adapted for use with a helmet and additional equipment. When the hood is not needed, it can be rolled up and stowed in the collar, which helps reduce its bulk and makes it easier to use the jacket without headwear.
velcro panels
Velcro panels have been sewn onto the shoulders, allowing the attachment of any emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, so-called Morale Patches, or an IR patch.

MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior programme. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on green tones in woodland areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in the environment of Central and Eastern Europe, it performs particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, which is why it remains a popular choice among militaria and airsoft enthusiasts.
