MultiCam camouflage

MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior project. Its aim was to develop a camouflage pattern that would be effective in varied terrain and weather conditions.

The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours forming gradient transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. This allows it to dynamically adapt to the background, gaining shades of green in forest areas and browns and beiges in desert terrains - it is particularly effective in the autumn in Central and Eastern Europe and on dry terrains. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is widely used by armed forces and special units. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for troops stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available for civilians, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.

The cummerbund is great, especially because of the wide strap with molle attachment. It fits well under the arm, and thanks to the attachments, I added a few mags near the buckle and a pocket for my phone :) Rapid access is very practical, it just takes a bit of practice to fasten it efficiently. Just be careful to mount the cummerbund correctly – it should detach downwards, not upwards :D

Excellent, exceptionally comfortable belt, greatly simplifies daily activities, and the placement of the buckles and laser-cut MOLLE slits is very well thought out – an excellent addition to the Spitfire vest.
