MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage system developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior program. It was created with the idea of a universal camo pattern effective in diverse terrains and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colours, creating smooth transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to adapt to the environment, taking on green hues in forests or browns and beiges in desert areas - in the European central and eastern zones, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained global recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially introduced by the US Army as the pattern for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This option is also available for civilian users, making it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
