The handle and strap webbing are stitched to the bottom of the bag for increased durability. After several years of use, I consider this bag to be very good, but I’m taking off one star due to certain design flaws that shouldn’t occur at this price. For example, there’s no way to lock the zippers with a travel padlock, nor to detach the manufacturer’s logo patches, which clearly associate it with the military and may cause extra checks at airports or border crossings. Additionally, unlike most Direct Action products, this bag isn’t made in a Polish sewing factory.
