I ordered it as an alternative to compare with the MCDU combat shirt from Helikon, and from the very first impression I have to say that Vanguard comes out better in terms of quality. The same goes for the material and how it feels to wear; it seems more breathable than the MCDU. Unfortunately, I do not yet have that much experience with Vanguard in combination with wearing a vest and other gear. I only have one comment here that surprised me a little, and that is the colour of the functional part. I have no issue with the RAL colour on the sleeves and collar; that is standard and the colour matches. However, on the functional part on the chest and stomach, the colour is noticeably lighter than in the promotional photos, almost sandy. It is not something that particularly bothers me, but a darker shade, as presented by the manufacturer, would look better and more understated. To illustrate, I am also attaching a photo in which the aforementioned Vanguard shirt is on the right-hand side and the MCDU trousers from Helikon are on the left-hand side, specifically the elastic part in the waist/back area. In my view, it would be much nicer if the functional part of the Vanguard shirt were also in a shade closer to RAL rather than this sandy colour. For me, the price-to-performance ratio is a really solid 4, maybe 4.5, but the appropriate price is around 2000; above that, you are already paying mainly for brands such as UFPRO and the like. After all, it is a combat shirt that is not entirely universal and is, in its own way, quite a consumable item. Size L is just right for a height of 197 cm, although everyone has different arm lengths, so I mention that only as a rough guide. I think the sizing for shirts and upper garments in general is identical to Helikon.

The sweatshirt is extremely comfortable, fits the body well, and does not restrict freedom of movement. It stands out for its very solid workmanship. Even after prolonged wear, it remains comfortable while also looking genuinely attractive.

Top end kit but without the ego price, your money is just going on top end kit, you're getting the same quality as UF, but you're not paying the extra for the name. It's hard wearing, fits well (XL fits me perfectly), does what it says on the tin fully.

Another DA shirt-blouse, this time much cheaper than the Multicam camo model, about which I wrote a more detailed review. The availability of different colours means everyone will find something for themselves; you don't always have to choose Multicam, though it is also a good option. I definitely recommend it!

The price is high, but the quality of the product is even better! From the very first contact you can feel that this shirt-jacket is a new level of quality. The body made from Polartec fleece and additions from NyCo material guarantee comfort. Excellent workmanship, precise stitching, subtle logo and great fit. Perhaps after longer use some flaws will appear, but for now I see only advantages.

In my opinion, this is a top-quality product. It fits perfectly, is very comfortable to wear, and does not cause any discomfort. Although the price seems a bit high, the sweatshirt works well for both cold and warmer days. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

The sweatshirt is excellently made and crafted from high-quality materials. It has a well-designed, anatomical cut that fits the body closely – the Polartec is very elastic, so it's worth considering a smaller size than usual. I definitely recommend this product.
