DD Hammocks Travel Bivi waterproof Hammock Olive

A very practical 'multi-purpose device'. It’s perfect as part of an emergency sleeping kit. It can be used as a classic hammock or as a makeshift bivi on the ground. High waterproofing, so breathability is low – significant condensation occurs at night.

I bought this hammock recently and I already had a chance to test it at the beginning of May. It performed excellently, a product truly worth recommending. While lying in the hammock, you can feel some coolness from below, but all you need to do is put a sleeping mat between the layers and it becomes very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

The hammock has only been tested once so far, but it worked perfectly. A big advantage is the double floor, which allows you to slide in a foam pad or mat. The option to use it as a bivi is also great – you can sleep on the ground. I will probably replace the cords with straps for hammock mode – it will be even better.

Easy to install, especially with the use of a protective sleeve.

ADVANTAGES... Strong materials, solid seams, plenty of space. Completely sealed mosquito net. Many pockets inside. Easy installation thanks to thick straps and knowledge of two knots. DISADVANTAGES... Unfortunately, the set weighs about 1.3 kg, not 930 grams – this is misleading, as the hammock is on the heavier side. Moreover, the waterproof coating causes moisture to collect underneath from condensed water vapour if there is a large temperature difference inside and outside.

Very solid hammock, a bit large, but great for summer protection against insects.

Very light and durable equipment. I recommend it to everyone.

Light, compact, handy and strong. Now we just have to see how it holds up in terms of durability, but so far it makes a very good impression.

You have to learn how to sleep and rest in it, but once you get used to it, you feel comfortable and secure during trips or camping in the wild. Very functional. I haven't used it on the ground yet. The hammock is great and lightweight.

I haven't had the chance to test the hammock outdoors yet, but after setting it up at home, it made a big impression – it is very wide and long, so it can easily accommodate two people. It is light and compact, fits into a backpack and there's still a bit of space left. I recommend this product.

Great, sturdy hammock, the only drawback is the permanently attached mosquito net, but the frame system itself is very well thought out. I’ve used the hammock many times in the forest and can recommend it with a clear conscience!

The hammock is of excellent quality. It worked very well and seems solid, at least after the first use – I hope it will last for a long time.

A comfortable and sturdy hammock with a sewn-in mosquito net and a pocket for a sleeping pad or blanket. The stretched mosquito net also provides extra protection against the wind.
