A very practical "multifunctional device." It works perfectly as part of an emergency sleeping kit. It can be used as a classic hammock or as an improvised bivi on the ground. High water resistance, which means breathability is low—there is a lot of condensation at night.
Travel Bivy is a waterproof version of the popular Frontline hammock from DD Hammocks. A professional hammock with an integrated mosquito net to protect against small insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, flies, wasps, and bees. The mosquito net closes with a double-sided zipper and can be rolled up and pinned under the hammock if necessary. Its load bearing capacity is as high as 150 kg, providing a high level of comfort. An ideal product for outdoor recreational trips, bushcraft expeditions, or survival trips.
Made of breathable and tear-resistant fabric. The construction of the hammock consists of two layers of fabric, which are connected to each other with wide Velcro straps, allowing you to place a carrimat or NRC film between them for the best thermal comfort. Inside, four pockets have been placed for handy trinkets like a flashlight, phone, keys or documents. Special two internal loops allow you to suspend handy gear, such as a light. Four external mounting loops make it easy to unfold the hammock in any conditions.
Thanks to the fact that the hammock is made of waterproof fabric, you can spread it out on the ground and set up a mink - bivy style shelter without worrying about the bottom of the shelter getting soggy.
Includes:
- 2 collapsible mosquito netting poles,
- two pieces of 2-meter elastic cord for attaching the mosquito net,
- 10 meters of mounting tape for attaching the hammock.

I bought this hammock recently, and I already had the opportunity to test it at the beginning of May. It worked excellently, really a product worth recommending. While lying in the hammock you can feel a chill from below, but you just need to put a sleeping pad between the layers and it's very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The hammock has only been tested once so far, but so far it has worked perfectly. A big advantage is the double bottom, which allows you to slide in a sleeping pad or mat. The option to use it as a bivi is also great—you can sleep on the ground. I will probably replace the ropes with straps for hammock mode—it will be even better.

Easy to install, especially with the use of a protective sleeve.

ADVANTAGES... Strong materials, sturdy seams, large space. Completely sealed mosquito net. Many inner pockets. Easy assembly thanks to thick straps and the knowledge of two knots. DISADVANTAGES... Unfortunately, the set weighs about 1.3 kg, not 930 grams—which is misleading since the hammock is one of the heavier ones. Additionally, the waterproof coating causes moisture to accumulate underneath from condensed water vapor if there is a large temperature difference inside and outside.
-
Very sturdy hammock, a bit large, but great for summer to protect against insects.
-
Very light and durable equipment. I recommend it to everyone.
-
Lightweight, compact, handy, and strong. Now it's just a matter of seeing how durable it is, but so far it's made a very good impression.

You have to learn how to sleep and rest in it, but once you get used to it, you feel comfortable and safe during a trip or overnight stay in nature. Very functional. I haven't used it on the ground yet. The hammock is great and lightweight.

I haven't had the chance to test the hammock outdoors yet, but after setting it up at home, it makes a big impression – it's very wide and long, so two people fit comfortably. It's lightweight and compact, fits in a backpack, and there’s still some space left. I recommend this product.

So far, it's working very well. It's durable.
-
Great, sturdy hammock, the only downside is the permanently attached mosquito net, but the frame system itself is very well thought out. I have used the hammock multiple times in the forest and can wholeheartedly recommend it!
-
The hammock is of great quality. It worked very well and seems solid, at least after the first use—I hope it will last for a long time.
-
Comfortable and sturdy hammock with a sewn-in mosquito net and pocket for a sleeping pad or blanket. The stretched mosquito net also provides extra protection from the wind.

Surprisingly practical. Good materials and decent workmanship.
