The material is thin, but it seems quite warm. I have only used it for a short time, so it's hard to say if it gets dirty easily. Unfortunately, the zip is of poor quality and rather poorly made – it has already jammed a few times and I fear that after a maximum of two months it will need to be replaced.

Columbia Basin Butte II Hybrid Fleece Jacket - Stone Green/Black
Zippered fleece made of 100% durable polyester featuring quilted panels with Microtemp XF II synthetic insulation and lining made with Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective technology. It will work well as an insulating layer to wear under a jacket, or as a stand-alone sweatshirt.
Microtemp XF II insulation, Omni-Heat technology
The fleece is made of Anti Pill Solid Microfleece polyester fabric with a grammage of 225 g/m2. The upper body features quilted panels filled with Microtemp XF II synthetic insulating material of 40 g/m2, with good insulating properties even when wet.
The inner layer is lined with Omni-Heat thermoreflective lining, which helps regulate temperature by reflecting and retaining heat generated by the body. The system is based on a lining with a “matrix” of aluminum dots. When it is cold, the dots reflect the heat generated by the body. When, on the other hand, the body is heated and begins to sweat, the dots dissipate excess heat.
Zipper closure, elastic ribbing
The sweatshirt is fastened with a full-length zipper. A high collar and elastic cuff ends provide additional protection from the cold.
Zippered pockets
The Modes Basin Butte II is equipped with two pockets located on the hips. They are closed with a zipper.

This is already my second fleece of this brand and of this type. The material is lightweight, yet it keeps you very warm. Most importantly, it still works great even after washing. I believe the price matches the quality, so it’s worth spending a bit more to use the product for a long time.
