An observation telescope offering high-quality optics. The 65 mm objective lens is made of low dispersion BaK-4 glass. The lenses are coated with XLT (Fully Multi-Coated) multilayer anti-reflection coatings, which ensures very good light transmission and thus a bright image with high contrast. Also worth mentioning is the wide field of view with a minimum magnification of 16x and a satisfactory maximum magnification of 48x.
The model is equipped with many useful features, including a microfocuser for precise focusing. A retractable sunshade has also been added to significantly increase image contrast when observed against the light. The tripod mount has been made in such a way as to allow the scope to be rotated around its own axis in the mount, without the need to reposition the tripod.
The simple version of the spotting scope is equipped with an eyepiece parallel to the axis of the scope, which makes it ideal for handheld observation from a support (e.g. from a windowsill or a railing). This makes it easier to observe objects on the horizon (e.g. a ship at sea) or below it (e.g. streets from an office building window). The telescope can also be attached to a tripod equipped with a standard 1/4" connector.
An additional advantage of the model is that the eyepiece can be exchanged and fixed-focus astronomical eyepieces can be used with a standard 1.25" mount.
The waterproof housing makes the spotting scope resistant to moisture and the nitrogen filling prevents the lenses from evaporating from the inside. The housing is covered with rubber, so it fits securely in the hand.
The kit includes:
- cover,
- optics cleaning cloth.

Celestron is an American company specializing in the production of optical equipment, operating continuously since 1960. Since its inception, it has been developing innovative solutions to support both amateur astronomers and professional users. It gained popularity thanks to its Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, which set new standards in astronomical observations. Among the groundbreaking technologies developed by Celestron are the StarSense AutoAlign automatic alignment system and the NexStar controller, which greatly facilitate sky observation. The advanced EdgeHD series telescopes are also used in scientific observatories, and Fastar technology allows for exceptionally fast sky imaging while maintaining high-quality detail. The brand has gained worldwide recognition and is considered one of the leading manufacturers of mid-range telescopes.
