Celestron Trailseeker 65 spotting scope - Simple

A high-quality optics observation telescope features a 65 mm objective lens crafted from low dispersion BaK-4 glass. The lenses are enhanced with XLT (Fully Multi-Coated) multilayer anti-reflection coatings, providing excellent light transmission, resulting in a vivid image with high contrast. It also offers a wide field of view with a minimum magnification of 16x and a maximum magnification of 48x, which is satisfactory.

The model comes with several useful features, such as a microfocuser for accurate focusing. A retractable sunshade enhances image contrast significantly when viewed against the light. The tripod mount is designed to allow the scope to rotate around its own axis within the mount without relocating the tripod.

The basic version of the spotting scope includes an eyepiece aligned with the scope's axis, making it ideal for handheld observations from a support (e.g., a windowsill or railing). It's convenient for observing objects on the horizon (e.g., a ship at sea) or below (e.g., streets from an office window). The telescope can also be affixed to a tripod equipped with a standard 1/4" connector.

An added benefit of this model is the interchangeability of the eyepiece, allowing the use of fixed-focus astronomical eyepieces with a standard 1.25" mount.

The waterproof casing ensures the spotting scope is protected against moisture, and the nitrogen filling prevents internal lens fogging. The housing is rubber-covered for a secure grip.
