A portable telescope in the Schmidt-Cassegrain system with a diameter of 125 mm and a focal length of 1,250 mm. The maximum magnification of 188x and the short focal length make it possible to observe objects such as the lunar surface or star clusters. The tube, thanks to its low weight of 3 kg, is easy to transport.
The telescope's corrector plate is coated with high-quality StarBright XLT anti-reflection coatings. The focus is set using a knob located on the wall of the tube. Either 8 head-mounted AA batteries or an additional 12-volt power supply can be used to power the mount.
The model uses a NexStar controller with a database of 40000+ objects and 9 rotation speeds. For proper operation of the system, it is necessary to manually set up to 3 reference objects, which allows searching for both objects contained in the database and those defined by the user. The mount can be connected to a computer, so it is possible to control using popular astronomy software. An additional RS232-USB converter is required.
The high-quality Plossel eyepiece has a focal length of 25 mm and a field of view of 50 degrees. The SCT T-Adapter allows you to connect a camera. As an option, it is possible to connect the Star Sense automatic homing system, as well as the Celestron SkySync GPS module. In turn, the SkyQ Link module allows control via WiFi.

Celestron is an American company specializing in the production of optical equipment, operating continuously since 1960. Since its inception, it has been developing innovative solutions to support both amateur astronomers and professional users. It gained popularity thanks to its Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, which set new standards in astronomical observations. Among the groundbreaking technologies developed by Celestron are the StarSense AutoAlign automatic alignment system and the NexStar controller, which greatly facilitate sky observation. The advanced EdgeHD series telescopes are also used in scientific observatories, and Fastar technology allows for exceptionally fast sky imaging while maintaining high-quality detail. The brand has gained worldwide recognition and is considered one of the leading manufacturers of mid-range telescopes.
