A portable telescope utilizing the Schmidt-Cassegrain system, featuring a 125 mm aperture and a 1,250 mm focal length. With a maximum magnification of 188x and a short focal length, it's ideal for observing celestial bodies like the lunar surface or star clusters. The tube is lightweight at 3 kg, making transportation straightforward.
The telescope's corrector plate is enhanced with premium StarBright XLT anti-reflective coatings. Focus adjustment is accomplished via a knob on the tube wall. The mount is powered by either 8 AA batteries or an additional 12-volt power source.
Equipped with a NexStar controller housing a database of over 40,000 objects and 9 rotation speeds, the system requires manual alignment with up to 3 reference points, facilitating the search for both database-stored and user-defined objects. It connects to a computer to enable control with common astronomy software, with an optional RS232-USB adapter necessary.
The high-quality Plossel eyepiece has a focal length of 25 mm and offers a 50-degree field of view. Attach a camera via the SCT T-Adapter. There is also the option to integrate the Star Sense automatic alignment system and the Celestron SkySync GPS module. The SkyQ Link module enables WiFi control.
