Carinthia HIG 5.0 Trousers - Olive
Insulated trousers in olive colour designed for operations in temperatures down to -20 degrees Celsius and in changing weather conditions. The construction was developed as an insulating layer providing a high level of thermal protection.
The outer layer is made of windproof Carinthia SOF 2L material, while the inside features synthetic G-Loft insulation with a grammage of 125 g/m2. The design includes one external pocket, adjustable braces, and two-way side zips, allowing for quick dressing without the need to remove footwear.
Carinthia SOF 2L outer material
The outer layer is made of polyamide-based Carinthia SOF 2L. The fabric is lightweight, windproof, and hydrophobic, which limits cold air penetration and moisture absorption during short contact with precipitation or a wet environment. The trousers lining is made of 100% polyamide, which makes it easier to put the garment on over thermal underwear. In critical knee and seat areas, durable fabric reinforcements have been added to increase resistance during movement in changing positions.
G-Loft thermal insulation
Warmth retention is provided by synthetic G-Loft insulation with a grammage of 125 g/m2 made of 100% polyester. G-Loft fibres trap warmed air inside the insulating layer, helping maintain thermal comfort in low temperatures. The resilient filling does not clump and retains its warming properties even when damp.
1 practical pocket
The trousers are equipped with one external pocket, located at the rear, closed with a concealed zip and protective flap. The pocket is intended for safely carrying small everyday items.
adjustable braces, high waist
The model features newly designed adjustable braces that stabilise the trousers while walking, while the high waist at the back covers the lower back and protects the kidney area from draughts. Along the legs run separating two-way zips with a windproof strip, allowing the trousers to be quickly put on or taken off while wearing boots and equipment, and also enabling ventilation adjustment during intense exertion. Transport dimensions of 18 x 31 cm and low weight make it easier to carry the garment in a backpack.
