Carinthia D 600X Large Right Sleeping Bag - Black
Durable sleeping bag in black, with a mummy-style construction, supports a comfortable body position and freedom of movement during sleep. The outer layer is made of high-quality Shellproof Ultra material, while the interior is made of Shelltex Ultra. The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down. The version with the zip on the right side in size L measures 230 x 82 x 53 cm.
Temperatures and conditions of use
The operating temperatures of the Carinthia D 600X sleeping bag are specified in accordance with ISO 23537-1/EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -5 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -12 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -32 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Shellproof Ultra and Shelltex Ultra material
The outer side uses lightweight and durable Shellproof Ultra material with a Rip-Stop structure coated with polyurethane (PU), which limits moisture penetration into the sleeping bag and supports moisture transfer to the outside. The inside uses lightweight Shelltex Ultra, which stands out for its high breathability and hydrophobic properties, increasing sleep comfort. The special structure of the material also limits the escape of the natural filling to the outside.
G-Loft filling, 95/5 CQ-Down
The D 600X model is filled with 95/5 CQ-Down snow goose down, which is characterised by very low weight, very good thermal insulation, and high loft at 600 cuin (cubic inches). The down is placed in H-type chambers, which prevent it from shifting and provide even protection against the cold. The DIScover system (Dry Insulation System) protects the filling from moisture thanks to the sleeping bag's outer construction. It reduces the buildup of condensed water vapour in the down, helping preserve its thermal insulation properties.
Left-side zip, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zip positioned on the left side, allowing it to be fully unzipped. Thanks to the Anti Snag system, the material does not get caught in the zip. A velcro flap located at the top of the zip prevents it from coming open during sleep. Inside there is a small pocket for small items.
Integrated hood for protection against the cold
The built-in hood in the sleeping bag increases thermal protection by wrapping around the head and reducing heat loss in low temperatures. Its shape also provides additional protection against wind and moisture.
Convenient transport and storage
When packed, the sleeping bag takes up little space, making transport and storage easier. Its packed dimensions are 21 x 21 cm, and it weighs only 1100 g, so carrying it does not place excessive strain on your luggage.

It combines waterproofing and windproofing with breathability, allowing wicking away of moisture and the passage of gases without the need to open the ventilation holes. Oxygen and CO2 can freely pass through the material, ensuring comfort and effective insulation. An additional advantage is the second, detachable outer layer, which allows for quick removal of water or ice accumulating between the layers.
