Bushnell A3 Mid-Size 8x32 Binoculars - Sky Captain Blue

Waterproof binoculars in Sky Captain Blue shade with 32 mm diameter objective lens and 8x magnification. The optical glass used in the binoculars is equipped with BaK-4 prisms, which provide excellent light transmission and a clear image, even when observing at long distances. Compact design and lightweight construction allow for easy portability and storage.

The binocular body is based on a Roof design, which allows for a slim shape. The housing is covered with a soft, non-slip rubber layer with a wavy texture and high abrasion resistance, providing protective and cushioning functions. The whole is sealed and filled with nitrogen, preventing condensation and providing water resistance compliant with IPX7 standard (protection when submerged for up to 30 minutes to a depth of up to 1 metre). The design is optimised for ergonomics, ensuring a stable grip and precise operation of the focus mechanism even when wearing gloves. The front is equipped with a connection for mounting on a tripod, with the use of an adapter.

This model uses an optical system based on BaK-4 prisms made from Barium Crown glass with barium oxide, characterised by a high refractive index, which allows for a sharp, bright, and contrast-rich image with minimal chromatic aberrations. Good light transmission makes the prisms particularly effective in low light conditions. The multilayer Fully Multi-Coated (FMC) coating minimises light reflections from the lens surfaces. The EXO-Barrier coating on the external lenses fills microscopic pores, creating a smooth surface that repels water, oil, and dust.

The binoculars are equipped with a Snap-Lock system, allowing for quick and secure attachment and detachment of the carrying strap without threading the straps through hooks. The mechanism is based on snap connectors, providing a stable connection while allowing for instant detachment with one hand. The design is intended for field use, with high resistance to mechanical damage and accidental release.

The set includes a case made of durable synthetic material with increased resistance to abrasion and moisture, providing solid protection during transport and storage.
