Cut-resistant shirt in Navy Blue, designed as a base layer for users of protective vests in uniformed services. This product serves as a personal protective equipment in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and has been developed to protect those areas of the body that are typically not shielded by standard ballistic vests. The protection zones, including the sleeves and underarms, are made from a modern fibre blend:

• Aramid (50%) – provides exceptionally high mechanical strength as well as effective cut protection, acting as the key safeguarding component
• Polyester (33%) – reinforces fabric structure, increases abrasion resistance, and improves tensile strength and resistance to deformation
• Fibreglass (17%) – reinforcement function, high hardness and blade resistance make it difficult to penetrate the material, offering an additional protective layer

This combination of fibres has enabled the creation of a fabric with high cut resistance while remaining thin and flexible. This design proves effective during extended everyday use. The external layer of the shirt is made entirely of polyester, promoting breathability, rapid moisture wicking and material durability.

The Ludwigsburg model has been engineered to focus protection on the most vulnerable areas. The cut-resistant layer covers the shoulders – from the shoulder line to the sleeve ends – and the underarm region, where standard vests do not offer full coverage. This targeted placement of cut-resistant zones makes the shirt a valuable addition to protective kit, increasing safety in areas that are prone to attack with sharp implements.

In areas covered by the cut-resistant layer, a high level of protection is provided, in line with European standards for protective clothing. The fabric and construction used form an effective barrier against cutting tools and mechanical hazards:

• Cut protection at level 5 according to EN 388:2016 – the highest level of mechanical protection in this rating system (scale from 0 to 5)
• Cut protection at level D according to EN ISO 13997:1999 – high resistance to blades under specified pressure (scale from A – lowest, to F – highest)

The design is intended for direct wear under a vest, with no modification required to other gear. The elastic fabric does not restrict movement, and the tailored fit provides optimum comfort against the body. The neck area is finished with soft material to help prevent chafing.
