A long parka-type jacket made from a high-quality blend of cotton and nylon. The characteristic slit at the back, the so-called fishtail, is an imitation of the design of the popular M51 model worn by the US Army.
The jacket is equipped with additional insulation in the form of a thermal lining sewn from 100% durable nylon and filled with a polyester padding. The lining also covers the sleeves and is attached to the jacket with buttons at neck level and in the sleeves.
The US M51 is fastened with a zip fastening with a press stud on the outside. The ribbed waistband and cuffs protect against wind and cold.
The jacket features a large adjustable hood and four capacious pockets. Two Napoleon-style pockets located at waist level are fastened with strong press studs, allowing essential items to be comfortably carried. Another two sewn on the hips with fleece lining allow for additional storage and hand warming in cold temperatures.
