Brandit Performance Outdoor Jacket - Olive

A olive, warm and solid outdoor jacket. The outer fabric is made from waterproof 900D nylon, with additional reinforcements around the elbows from 500D Cordura. The interior features a polyester lining.

YKK zip, snap strip, adjustable cuffs

The jacket can be fastened using a sturdy two-way YKK zip, which can be further covered with a strip fastened with snaps. The strip helps retain heat, protects against strong wind, and prevents zip issues caused by dirt, dust or water. Cold is kept at bay thanks to adjustable cuffs and drawstrings at the waist and bottom of the jacket. The model has an adjustable hood which can be detached using a zip.

numerous practical pockets

The jacket has four spacious cargo pockets - two on the hips, one on the chest, one on the sleeve. Smaller accessories can be stored in two flat zipped pockets, located on the chest and right forearm. Inside, there is a large pocket with a zip.

MOLLE straps

To enhance outdoor practicality, the jacket is equipped with straps compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing for the addition of extra pockets, organisers, or a first aid kit, as well as attaching a carabiner.

pockets for protectors, velcro panels

Elbow reinforcements from 500D Cordura include pockets for additional protectors. Velcro panels on the shoulder and chest allow personalisation of the jacket with patches or moral patches.

I've fallen in love with this jacket. The material is solid and protects well against wind and heat loss. The number and arrangement of the pockets have been very well thought out. The Velcro and zips are very sturdy. I honestly recommend this product.

This is a great jacket – it features stiff material and many pockets, which makes it exceptionally practical. It has a sturdy hood fastened at the neck and is waterproof, so it's perfect for winter. For extra warmth, I recommend wearing a warm sweatshirt underneath.

Very nice jacket, but unfortunately it's not suitable for winter due to the lack of insulation. It's a shame, because the quality and workmanship are really great. If it had additional insulation, I would definitely keep it.

I'm happy with the purchase. The jacket has lots of pockets and, thanks to the drawstrings, you can adjust it well to your figure. I'm 190 cm tall, weigh 98 kg, and size XXL fits well. I'll wear a fleece underneath and the jacket will be fine in winter.

I've been wearing this jacket for some time and I've formed an opinion about it. It's exceptionally resistant to damage and abrasion, and it has often brushed against branches or bushes. The hood with a peak is fully sufficient in windy weather. For cooler days, temperatures around 3 degrees, a thermal base layer underneath is enough. Large velcro panels will fit any patch, and the front mole strips allow you to attach a small pouch. The material itself is quite stiff, but that doesn't bother me. I recommend it to those who are undecided.

The jacket has been serving me for quite some time now, so I can share my opinion. It is very resistant to tears and abrasions; it has come into contact with bushes and branches many times. When there's a strong wind, the hood with a peak provides effective protection. At temperatures around +3 degrees, it's enough to wear a thermal long-sleeve shirt underneath. The large velcro panels let you attach any patch. The front mole straps can be used to attach a small pouch. The material is indeed stiff, but that doesn't bother me. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is undecided.

This is not just an ordinary jacket, it’s real protection ;) In the forest, you won’t be afraid you’ll damage it – it’s actually the trees that should worry about being ripped by this jacket :) The Cordura performs excellently. No branches or pinecones will harm it. Unfortunately, with the durability also comes a lot of stiffness, which can be really uncomfortable. If you’re just walking straight, it’s fine, but if you need to bend or sit down, that’s when the problems start. The length of the jacket adds to the discomfort. There are plenty of pockets, but they could be deeper. The main zip has two sliders, so you can open the jacket from the top and the bottom – a big plus for such a stiff design. However, it’s surprising that the zips are arranged the opposite way round. Usually, they’re on the left side, but here they’re on the right, which might be unusual for right-handed people. The jacket is windproof – as for waterproofing, I’m not sure, as I’ve only worn it briefly in the rain and it didn’t leak. It’s not insulated, so it’s great as a durable outer layer, but on colder days you’ll need to wear something underneath.

Great jacket. It’s perfect for spring and autumn as it has no insulation. The shell material is a bit stiffer, but it’s very comfortable to wear and provides excellent protection from wind, rain, and other adverse conditions. The zips, fastenings, pockets, and zippered vents are brilliantly thought out. The finish is top notch, like branded clothes such as Diesel and similar. The price is definitely appropriate, and if you find it on offer, it’s absolutely worth buying if you’re looking for this type of jacket. I sincerely recommend it.

I tested the jacket twice in the mountains in harsh weather conditions – wind, rain, and snow. It performed excellently – it doesn't soak through and retains warmth. Initially it is very stiff, but already by the second use it was much more comfortable. I am 170 cm tall and have a 106 cm chest – size S is perfect. I am very satisfied and recommend it.

Very good and practical jacket, well made, worth its price, with a good cut. However, it is too thin for very cold conditions, up to about -5 degrees it is fine. For harsher frost, you'll need to wear something warmer underneath.

The jacket is well made, matches the description, and is practical – the pockets are functional. The two drawstrings really work well and protect against wind. I believe the price matches the quality. I can’t judge its durability yet, but from the material alone, you can see it will last at least 5–6 years. I recommend it!

Strong Velcro and durable material. The jacket is comfortable and quite warm, working best in spring and autumn. It's also fine for winter, provided you wear a good, insulated sweatshirt underneath.

The jacket is really stiff and doesn't let moisture through. The sizing is very accurate. It looks great and is well made. The zip is very good quality. However, this isn't a jacket for winter – it has no insulation. Together with a warm fleece you can manage down to -5 degrees.

Great jacket, I've had it for two seasons already. It always meets my expectations – spacious pockets for various needs, Velcro for personalisation, and a molle system which is both practical and eye-catching. An excellent choice for autumn and spring. Highly recommended, 5/5.

The jacket is very well made and retains warmth excellently – although it looks like an autumn model, I think it will also be suitable for winter. I chose black and am satisfied with its appearance.
