They have button fastenings – some people prefer this method, others a zip. Zips are quick and tight, but they can get stuck or break; buttons can fall off and get lost. I would prefer a zip, but the buttons don't bother me. The fabric seems durable, and the pockets are very spacious. Additional straps allow you to adjust the waist, which is useful if you don't have a belt. For this price, it's hard to find fault, maybe except for the colour. I recommend!

After two months of intensive use, I can confirm that the shorts are very well made. The waist adjusters work perfectly, especially when I'm not wearing a belt. The material is durable and doesn’t wear through, at most a small hole might appear. Over two months, only one button has come off, which is a good result as in other trousers I've lost buttons much quicker.
