The hood is of very good quality. For me, a woman of average build, its size is just right, unlike most hoods – this one covers much more than just half of the head. When the drawstring is pulled, it nicely covers the forehead and cheeks. An additional scarf or neck warmer effectively protects the neck from the wind. I don't like wearing hats, so this is a great alternative for me. The khaki colour is exactly as shown in the photo.

Versatile scarf-hood that can replace a scarf, although in very low temperatures (below -5°C) the fleece is too thin to properly protect the head. The hood is large enough that you can easily wear any hat underneath. The neck section creates an air layer, and the extra space allows you, for example, to wear a thin merino neck warmer underneath. When folded, it doesn’t take up much space in your backpack or bag. I recommend it as an extra layer of warmth along with a neck warmer and hat in severe freezing weather, or as the main protection for temperatures down to -5°C.
