I've had positive experiences with the Baofeng company for a long time now. Reviews of this model mentioned that the radio is quite large – and indeed, it is much bigger than the UV 5R, but it sits well in the hand. For me, a huge advantage is the possibility to charge the battery via a USB-C port. The flashlight isn't anything special, but it does the job.

The Baofeng is solidly built, the torch is very bright, there are many options in the menu, the clip holds firmly, and the display looks good – I have nothing to complain about, everything is great, I can confidently recommend it. The only slight downside is the size – it's a bit bulky, but apart from that everything is fine.

The advantages are good build quality, water resistance, USB-C charging, an attractive display and generally appealing appearance. The downside, however, is the size – the device is rather unwieldy and a bit too thick.
