This is already the second model of this kind that I have bought, not because the first one broke, but because I use it with two radios. It works perfectly with the Baofeng UV-R5. It's not top-of-the-range equipment, but for the price, you can't complain. It does its job. I recommend this product.

The simplest speaker for Baofeng. It is clearly a budget option, but it does its job. It's nice that it has a jack input – this allows you to connect headphones and use it like a PTT button.

You should check if it sits correctly in the socket. The sound is a bit different than with the radio, slightly rough, but within acceptable limits. Sometimes you need to re-enter the frequency to make it work – I don't know why. Overall, it's fine.
