Baofeng EU-5R Mini is a portable Duoband (dual-band) radio with a maximum power of 5 W. The device features a keyboard, an LCD display, a torch and an FM radio. It is powered by a 2200 mAh battery with a USB-C socket.

The radio includes a Dual Watch function, allowing simultaneous monitoring of two channels. The user can communicate on the main frequency while also monitoring an additional frequency. Switching between channels is done using the appropriate key.

The device offers a colour display, a torch and an FM radio, which enhances its usability in the field. Additionally, a keypad lock is provided.

The radio can be programmed using the keypad or a computer, making operation quick and intuitive.

The VOX function allows voice-activated transmission, eliminating the need to press the PTT button and significantly easing operation in situations where hands-free capability is required.

CTCSS and DCS tones operate in normal and invert modes. These systems eliminate unwanted signals, ensuring reception only of transmissions with the appropriate tone or code, enabling a clear communication channel and reducing interference. Additionally, the model allows for changing the transmission power between Low and High.
