The cord was bought as a universal base for various applications during hammock trips. I use it to fasten the tarp, as a ridgeline, additional suspension, guy lines or prusiks. It works perfectly. It seems durable and solid – I've never been let down during a dozen or so trips, using the cord for all kinds of camp activities. The length of 30 metres is fully sufficient for all needs. The paracord is not perfect, but it offers good value for money. The 30-metre length is a generous amount. It is lightweight, although it does not have a perfectly round cross-section. Along the entire length, you can notice a few joins or welds, which may make tying knots more difficult if they happen to fall exactly in that spot — especially adjustable and tensioning ones. Even so, the cord is sturdy, and its green colour blends well into the surroundings, which makes it easy to lose in the grass.
