This is not modern technology – the blade gets a bit more worn than with professional sharpeners, but it works efficiently and is very simple to use.

Based on the reviews, I had higher expectations. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sharpener removes quite a lot of material from the knife and does not make a big impression – it will work for cheaper kitchen knives for quick touch-ups, but I wouldn’t recommend it for heavily worn knives with damaged edges – a good sharpening system will work better there.

So far, it's working well, kitchen knives and darts have been sharpened. So far, there are no signs of wear. For the price, it's a really handy sharpener for everyday use.
