I bought it with running in mind for rainy days. It worked great as a lightweight jacket during rain and snow. Although it is very thin, it protects well against moisture. It's a bit less effective against wind, but it's sufficient for running in the city.

A lightweight hardshell jacket in black, made of durable 20D nylon and equipped with a waterproof Hydrotex membrane that effectively protects against water penetration while offering breathability of 20,000 mm/m2. The outer layer of the fabric is coated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish to protect against moisture and dirt. Ideal for both outdoor use and everyday wear.
2.5-layer material structure, high breathability and waterproofness
Made of lightweight yet durable nylon with a 2.5-layer construction, the jacket features a Hydrotex membrane. With breathability and waterproofness rated at 20,000 g/m2, it guarantees comfort and effective protection against rain and snow. The outer surface is protected with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating that does not contain harmful PFC compounds. Taped seams provide additional protection against moisture, while reflective elements improve visibility after dark, increasing user safety.
Waterproof YKK zips, adjustable cuffs, deep hood
The Girdiman model is equipped with a waterproof YKK AquaGuard zip that ends with a high stand-up collar, effectively protecting the neck from wind gusts. Velcro-adjustable cuffs feature an elastic insert for additional protection against the cold. Hip drawstrings and a deep, adjustable hood allow for a precise fit. The jacket comes with a compression sack.

AquaGuard zippers
AquaGuard zippers are a type of YKK waterproof zippers that effectively protect against moisture and rain. The zippers are laminated with a PU layer on one side and additionally treated with DWR on the other side, which ensures high waterproofness of the products.
HDTX - Hydrotex
