A lightweight and comfortable CWU-45 jacket, also known as the MA-2, with a fitted design reminiscent of the popular flyers jackets.
Durable nylon construction, synthetic insulation
The upper part and quilted lining were sewn from durable and tear-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture. The interior is filled with synthetic insulation, which provides protection from the cold and good breathability.
Windproof strip and elastic cuffs
The main closure of the CWU 45 Heritage model is a one-way zip, which is protected by a wind-break strip on the inside to prevent the cold from penetrating. The elastic cuffs and welt at the bottom are responsible for maintaining the right temperature, as well as ensuring a very good fit for the wearer. The jacket has a distinctive turned-up collar, which adds to its classic military look.
4 practical pockets
The jacket is equipped with four roomy pockets:
- two front ones closed with patches and snaps,
- one on the left sleeve, closed with a zipper,
- one inner closed with Velcro.
A Remove Before Flight tag was placed on the sleeve near the pocket, adding to the military style. On the left sleeve is a tag with the manufacturer's logo. A Velcro-mounted patch with the Alpha Industries logo is placed on the chest on the left side.
