AlcoForce GTX Smart Breathalyzer

The breathalyser fulfils its function, but I have concerns about its accuracy. Being a new device, it should be properly calibrated. According to the guidelines, you should perform at least three tests and (for safety) rely on the highest reading. Unfortunately, the discrepancies between results can reach up to 0.3 per mille, which, according to Polish law, is a significant value. For example, the first test indicates around 0.3 per mille, the second already shows 0.0, and the third about 0.25 per mille. I definitely do not recommend it to professional drivers, as their safety depends on measurement accuracy and there is a risk of losing their licence. It is more suitable for less formal situations, for example after a spring barbecue or May Day picnic, if a 0.0 per mille result is not required. Tip: with a fully charged battery it shows higher values, and when the battery is nearly depleted it may be less accurate. I also recommend holding your breath for a few seconds before the test so the air has time to absorb alcohol.
