Origin and History of the Brand
Tick Mitt originates from the United States. The idea was born around 2018 when Steve Abrams noticed that the microfiber cloths he used to wipe his dogs' drool effectively caught ticks. Together with his daughter Olivia, who herself struggled with Lyme disease, he began working on developing this idea. Olivia, having personal experience with tick-borne disease, got involved in the project by creating a business plan and participating in prototype development. The brand officially launched in March 2023 and has been rapidly growing since, quickly gaining popularity in the USA and international markets such as Canada, South Korea, and Scandinavian countries.
