I've put on these gloves only for the third time, and they're already starting to fall apart... Coming back from work yesterday with a temperature around zero, they weren't particularly warm. If I had known earlier, I definitely wouldn't have spent a hundred zlotys on them.
Mechanix Wear ColdWork Guide Tactical Gloves Black/Grey
Winter gloves in Black/Grey feature advanced PrimaLoft Gold insulation, crafted for optimal performance in cold temperatures. Offering exceptional protection from the cold, they also shield hands from abrasions and cuts. Their precise fit guarantees full grip control, making them a perfect option for survival trips, workshop tasks, DIY projects, and ASG or paintball games.
Durable softshell, PrimaLoft Gold insulation
The gloves feature a lightweight fleece material, with an outer layer of softshell that offers resistance to wind and moisture, effectively shielding the inside from chilly air. The addition of a waterproof material on the palm enhances the gloves' durability and functionality.
PrimaLoft Gold insulation delivers superior thermal insulation – the back of the hand is equipped with PrimaLoft 40g Gold, while the palm is insulated with PrimaLoft 60g Gold, ensuring maximum warmth and comfort in severe weather.
Touchscreen compatibility
The distinctive palm design enables interaction with touchscreen devices while keeping the gloves on, enhancing their utility in the field.
Wide, elastic cuffs, snap buckle
The generous opening allows for easy glove application, while the elastic cuffs offer a snug and secure fit at the wrist. A further benefit is the snap buckle, which lets the gloves be fastened together for convenient transport and storage.
EN388-3222X and EN511 Standards
The gloves adhere to the EN388-3222X standard for mechanical protection, covering:
- 3: resistance to abrasion (scale 0-4)
- 2: resistance to cutting (scale 0-5)
- 2: resistance to tearing (scale 0-4)

If my hands get cold in gloves that cost 130 zlotys at a temperature of -1 degrees Celsius, without wind or snow, I think it's fair to say I feel misled. I do not recommend them.

Was my previous review deleted? Unfortunately, the product description is misleading – the gloves are not waterproof. Ordinary, water-permeable material was used between the fingers. Putting your hands in the snow causes the gloves to get wet after just a few seconds. For this price, the lack of waterproofing is a big downside.

Warm and durable.

The gloves performed very well. While working in the snow, they kept warmth for a long time even at -15°C. Operation of touch screens is difficult due to their thickness. After two tough months, unfortunately, I had to replace them, although the number of layers extended their durability. However, the seams at the joints of the leather are a downside. I do not recommend them where there is constant friction.

Gloves of excellent quality, they look very good, I am very satisfied with the purchase.
-
The gloves are very well made and in my opinion, they keep warmth well.
-
Good gloves for winter days, I recommend them.

Worked great for shoveling snow on a frosty morning. An additional plus for the ability to use a smartphone. I recommend them.
-
Very comfortable to wear. They allow great freedom of movement for the fingers, as they are not too stiff, even if they have leather-like material inside. The cuff is wide and comfortable, but it can easily be tucked under the jacket sleeve. The inner lining is exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch. I definitely recommend them.
-
I highly recommend them. The gloves are extremely comfortable and provide adequate warmth on cold days. There is enough space at the wrist so that they do not interfere with wearing a watch.
-
Really solid gloves, and their biggest advantage is the feeling of warmth while using them. Great for winter, and the reinforcements at the base of the hand are useful. The only downside is leaking in the parts made entirely of fleece.

The gloves are warm and durable. I recommend them.

The gloves are warm and seem very solid, but I have some doubts about their waterproofness. The waterproof material is on the palm side, while between the fingers there is only regular softshell, which absorbs water. I bought them after talking with a store employee thinking about skiing, but unfortunately after a few intense runs they were completely soaked. For this price and the declared waterproofness, that's a big downside.
