Very good gloves – they are comfortable and provide a lot of warmth. They are perfect for cold days and are comfortable to work in. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for warm winter gloves in which you can work freely.
Mechanix Wear ColdWork M-Pact Tactical Gloves - Black/Grey
Durable, insulated tactical gloves in Black/Grey, designed for professionals in the military and special forces. Perfect for those seeking lightweight, comfortable gloves that effectively protect hands and provide a secure grip.
Durable softshell, C40 3M Thinsulate insulation, TPR panels
Made from sturdy material reinforced with Armortex. The back of the hand is protected by a wind- and moisture-resistant softshell that blocks cold air. C40 3M Thinsulate insulation efficiently retains heat, ensuring comfort in challenging weather conditions.
TPR panels (thermoplastic rubber) provide protection against abrasions and impacts, meeting the ANSI 138 Level 2 standard. Their design allows for easy finger movement and fist clenching. Additional protection is offered by D3O padding, which absorbs and disperses impact energy, enhancing hand safety.
Durable synthetic leather, touchscreen capability
The palm side of the gloves is made of durable synthetic leather, which facilitates precise tasks and ensures excellent grip, even on slippery surfaces. A double layer of material on the inner thumb and index finger enhances durability. The ability to operate touchscreens eliminates the need to remove the gloves during work.
Convenient Velcro closure, snap buckle
The closure, made of TPR (thermoplastic rubber), along with a Velcro strap, ensures precise adjustment to the wrist. A practical snap buckle allows the gloves to be clipped together for easy transport and storage.
Compliance with EN388-2121XP, ANSI/ISEA 138 2 and EN511 11X standards
The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 138 at level 2 in terms of the glove’s ability to absorb impact energy, which means:
- 1: basic impact protection
- 2: medium level of protection
- 3: high level of protection
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 2121XP in terms of resistance to mechanical hazards, which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0–5)
- 2: tear resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale of A–F)
- P: impact protection (test passed)
Cold protection complies with the EN511 standard at level 11X, which means:
- 1: resistance to cold air penetration (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: resistance to contact cold (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: water penetration resistance (0 or 1)
In the ANSI/ISEA 138 standard, impact protection is evaluated based on the transmitted force (expressed in kN) during an impact test. The lower the transmitted force, the higher the level of protection provided by the gloves.
The scales specified in the EN388 and EN511 standards define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance. In the case of water penetration resistance, 0 indicates penetration and 1 indicates no penetration.
In the TDM (ISO 13997) test method, letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that a given parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The P marking indicates that the glove meets the impact protection requirements.

At first, the gloves seem solid, but after just a few weeks of using them only as protection against the cold, the seams start to come apart and the foam begins to come out from the inside, which really disappointed me.
-
Great, comfortable, and really solid gloves. Purchased for work during searches of places where there is a significant risk of coming into contact with dangerous substances. I think such a price is a small expense compared to protecting your health or life. I definitely recommend them.
-
Comfortable and practical for small handling tasks. They hold up well in cold temperatures, as long as you protect your wrists with something else. Not suitable for heavy-duty work. They lasted me a season in forestry work (private firewood gathering, about 50 cubic meters). Overall, a good product.
-
Keeps your hands warm for a good while but eventually gets cold in the finnish winter. Layering is a must if the weather gets freezing cold like uhh maybe -20 celcius. Anything abovr that temp you should get other gloves. Also thr glove doesnt cover your wrists so they can get cold if you dont use other gloves under them that cover the wrists. Good gloves. Feels good overall

The gloves are great, exactly as described, very warm and comfortable, and they look fantastic. I used them on a scooter and they worked perfectly. I definitely recommend them to everyone.
-
The gloves are very comfortable and warm, perfect for winter days and work very well during work. I can sincerely recommend them to anyone looking for warm gloves for winter work.
-
The gloves work great when cycling; this is already another purchase of this brand for me and it definitely won’t be the last. The store, as always, is highly recommended; every package arrives lightning fast.
-
These are my next Mechanix gloves and once again they did not disappoint me. They work perfectly in winter conditions. Although they are relatively warm, they still allow for very good manual handling. The quality of workmanship and appearance are top-notch. For the coldest weather, they might be a bit too thin, but if you’re looking for a combination of comfort and grip, they are the perfect choice.
-
I received these gloves from my dad at my own request. I think they are a great choice for people who spend time outdoors in winter. Both anglers, cyclists, bird watchers, and athletes will be satisfied with them. The gloves allow for very precise movements – for example, I was able to tie my shoelaces without taking them off. I also recommend them for their durability, protection against injuries, and excellent precision.
-
I bought these gloves with winter forest trips in mind. They are very warm, sometimes even too warm, so I recommend them for really strong frosts. I chose size XL, even though I have medium-sized hands—L or XL—but they're fine. The downside is that during work, for example when shoveling snow, the gloves often accidentally press buttons on my Garmin watch. Their length makes them rest perfectly on the Garmin Forerunner 965, which causes these situations.
-
These gloves work great on the job and are exceptionally warm, much more than standard winter work gloves. This is already my third purchase of this brand and I am very satisfied every time.
-
Carefully made and very functional gloves at an attractive price. They provide great insulation, are durable, light, comfortable, offer good protection and a secure grip. Excellent value for money, and they also look aesthetically pleasing. They fit very well around the wrist. I am very satisfied and recommend them to others.
-
Gloves tested at the training ground in low temperatures, both at -11°C and in damp conditions – the insulation works great, the gloves are comfortable and warm. After prolonged wear, you may feel cold in your fingertips. The brand is highly recommended; I use four different models and every pair works brilliantly.

The gloves are great: warm, comfortable, and look good. Someone mentioned that they look unusual in the city – that's a matter of taste. I am very satisfied, the gloves survived a serious fall, protected my hands well, and only the underside got slightly scratched. The material sometimes pills, but it's easy to fix with a lighter. Highly recommend.
