Wisport Raccoon Backpack 45 l Olive

The Survival-military backpack made of Cordura, developed by Wisport company from Wrocław in cooperation with commandos of the 1st Special Regiment from Lubliniec. The rucksack is based on the concept of the well-known Racoon rucksacks with a capacity of 65 and 85 litres, making a compromise between capacity and the weight of the equipment carried.

The main compartment, with a capacity of 45 litres, can be divided into two smaller ones - the upper one of approx. 2/3 of its capacity and the lower one of approx. 1/3 of its capacity. The compartment is zipped, but can be partially unzipped to carry long items (rolled up carrimat, tripod etc.).

The main compartment can be accessed from the top and bottom through a flap closed with a thick, spiral plastic zip. On the back side, the compartment also has a flat pocket for sturdy carrying of e.g. a laptop or radio station.

Above the pocket are:
- an eyelet for attaching a hydration system bag (camelbak),
- an opening for a hydration hose or antenna. The opening is protected against the ingress of water running down the hose or antenna.

The backpack has a detachable top flap, which contains two pockets - also zipped.

The FAS Plus Ergonomic (Full Adjustable System) carry system is fully adjustable, so that the positioning of the backpack on the back can be adjusted depending on the angle of descent or approach, and whether the person carrying the backpack is wearing, for example, an accessory waistcoat.

The carrying straps are quite wide and profiled in such a way that the weight is distributed evenly on the shoulders. They are relieved by a wide waist belt - of course, this can be detached if the person carrying the rucksack is wearing a wide weapon belt or a modular tactical belt for a waistcoat. Thanks to the ITW NEXUS and Duraflex quick-release buckles on the braces, the backpack can be dropped in an instant if necessary.

The front, side panels and flap have webbing in the MOLLE system (inch wide webbing sewn in every inch), which allows bags, first aid kits and pouches to be attached to the outside of the rucksack.

A system of compensating straps and straps (allowing the size of the rucksack to be adjusted to the amount of luggage being carried, to prevent it from moving around inside the rucksack, causing noise and disturbing balance) allows items to be attached to the rucksack that will not fit inside, or need to be ‘at hand’ due to the need to remain in constant readiness for use. As a result, the amount of equipment carried, especially bulky equipment, can be considerably larger than the nominal 45 litres.

The backpack has a number of interesting features that are very useful during use, such as transport handles on the sides that are convenient when crossing fords or lifting the backpack.
