Wiley-X Detection tactical glasses - 5 lenses
Protective glasses equipped with a set of five interchangeable visors, guaranteeing a high level of ballistic protection. They meet the requirements of the EN.166F and ANSI Z87.1 standards. The lenses are made from high-quality Selenite polycarbonate, known for its durability and clarity.
Lenses made from Selenite polycarbonate
The visors are made from shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate and are coated with a T-Shell coating, which protects against scratches. Additionally, an Anti-Fog coating prevents them from fogging up. They also provide eye protection against ultraviolet radiation UVA and UVB.
5 interchangeable visors
The glasses come with five interchangeable visors of various colours and light permeability, allowing adaptation to specific weather conditions.
- Clear - Transparent visor with visible light transmission of 89%, ensuring maximum clarity and image transparency. Suitable for cloudy weather or indoor use.
- Yellow - Yellow visor with visible light transmission of 82%, which enhances contrast in low-light conditions.
- Orange - Orange visor with visible light transmission of 55%, emphasises contrast and dims green colours. Good for medium light conditions.
- Purple - Purple visor with visible light transmission of 40%, which increases visibility and contrast at night and in minimal light conditions. Significantly reduces green colour.
- Copper - Brown visor with visible light transmission of 14%, improves vision quality in areas with intense sunlight and in clear weather.
All visors offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
Durable frames and adjustable nose pad
The frames are made from lightweight, stress-resistant and durable Triloid material. Their shape allows for a good fit and does not reduce comfort when wearing hearing protectors. The adjustable nose pad allows for adaptation to the user's face shape.
Standards and certifications
- EN.166F Standard - Meets European requirements for protection against impacts from moving particles (Medium Energy Impact). The frame and visors can withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.
- ANSI Z87.1 Standard - Specifies the visor and frame's impact resistance. Tests check resistance to impacts from a high mass steel object (High Mass) and a high-speed steel ball (High Velocity), confirming resistance to typical mechanical hazards.
