Walker's Razor Slim Active Hearing Protectors - Black

Lightweight, low-profile active hearing protectors designed for sport shooters, soldiers and other uniformed service personnel. They will perform well both at the shooting range and on the battlefield. Their design provides comfort and convenience even during prolonged use.

Omni-directional microphones, SAC system

Two high-frequency omnidirectional microphones capture ambient sounds and then transmit them to the built-in HD speakers. The SAC (Sound Activated Compression) system is responsible for reducing high-volume sound impulses (such as gunfire) to a safe level in 0.02 seconds.

Composite headband, foldable design

A contoured headband made of non-slip composite and an adjustable ear cup positioning system allow the protectors to be properly adjusted to the user's preferences. The foldable design makes them easy to transport and store.

High noise attenuation efficiency

According to the American NRR standard, they effectively reduce noise at 23 dB.

Audio input, volume control

A 3.5 mm audio input allows the protectors to be connected to devices such as a cell phone or radio. A fluted control knob allows you to turn on and adjust the volume.

Powered by AAA batteries

They are powered by two AAA batteries (included), replacing them requires only removing the panel on the side of one of the shells.

I bought the headphones as a gift, they are mostly used at the shooting range. They are comfortable, well made, and effectively suppress the sound of gunshots. My husband is satisfied and really appreciates good quality military equipment.

For me, these headphones were a big disappointment. The active noise cancellation works poorly and only muffles very close gunshots. Loud bangs nearby are still loud and tiring – the microphone transmits them directly to the speakers, which is unpleasant for the ears. The rubber inserts are shallow and after a few hours of use, my ears hurt and are sore. However, the biggest drawback is that the headphones DO NOT WORK WITH A HELMET. In my case, the bands pressed in by the helmet caused such pressure on my temples that after half an hour the pain was unbearable. I definitely advise against buying if you plan to spend a long time at the shooting range without taking off your hearing protection, especially if you use a helmet.

The headphones are really good. I have no complaints about the build quality. You can fit silicone tips on them instead of the original foam pads. The plastic has an unusual texture, so fingerprints are visible on it. They let in ambient sounds well, and noise from shots is suitably muffled.

These are my first headphones of this type and I am satisfied. They even pick up quiet conversations and quite well suppress shots at an open range. At the lowest setting, you can hear a slight hiss. After longer wear (about 2 hours), they press a bit; maybe it's worth changing the foam pads to gel ones. I plan to buy a second pair for my daughter.

Very comfortable low-profile headphones. They suppress unnecessary noise excellently and highlight the sounds that matter to the user. A good product at a fair price.

The headphones do their job well. Tested at an indoor shooting range; they are ideal for starting out in shooting sports, although the sound is a bit 'boxy', but this does not interfere with use. The construction looks solid.

The headphones are great for beginner shooters. They can be worn comfortably for a long time, and the headband does not squeeze the head. The battery lasts a very long time – I can't remember the last time I changed it. The microphone works flawlessly, and environmental sounds, even in heavy rain and noise, are well dampened.

These ear defenders are excellent! They reduce noise very well, and the ambient sound amplification system works brilliantly. They are comfortable, light, well made, and perfect for use at the shooting range. I sincerely recommend them to everyone!

For this price the headphones are very good. They work brilliantly on open shooting ranges; for indoor ones I also recommend using earplugs. Despite this, they are definitely worth buying because in their price class they are unmatched.

Very comfortable, fit well to the head without being too tight and provide great noise isolation. Simple power and volume control. They don’t slip off the head or hands. A small minus for the anti-slip coating, which shows fingerprints if your hands are wet.

Solid and aesthetically made. They do their job well and their quality is not significantly different from more expensive premium models. Comfortable, easy to use, and the noise reduction and sound quality are sufficient for occasional use. I recommend them.

I have no experience with other models, but on an indoor range I use both earplugs and headphones, which provides great results – conversations are clear and the noise from shots is strongly muffled. I am very satisfied and plan to buy a second set for my son. Definitely recommend!

Very nice headphones, worth their price. They effectively dampen the sounds of gunfire, while still allowing you to hear commands and talk to others. They are comfortable and don't cause ear pain even after several hours of use. Additionally, they have an aux input, so you can listen to music while shooting.

These headphones are very good for the price. They suppress very well and at the same time let through the signals you want to hear. Remember that the quality of the sound let through is not perfect – it’s a bit flat and the range is limited, but that is to be expected at this price. They have a cool, low profile.

Good and comfortable headphones with a flat profile, making them compact. They’re not the leader in decibel reduction, but you can use earplugs as well for better protection, especially since thanks to the audio system, conversations are still heard well.
