The build quality is excellent — the tool lock and the distinctive click make a great impression. Excellent steel, very precise workmanship, and you almost feel sorry to use it like an ordinary tool. For someone looking for a premium-segment multitool, this is a perfect choice. The only downside may be opening the tools, because it is not easy to do with one hand. If quick access to the blade using only one free hand matters, it is worth considering LM. If that is not important, Victorinox will be an excellent choice.

I should mention that I also have the Leatherman Arc and bought the Swisstool X to compare and use the Victorinox, as I already had this model before. The Swisstool is superbly made, and its price is half that of the Arc. This product perfectly complements my collection, it’s really outstanding, and the option of personalisation gives it a unique character and is really worth paying extra for.

Exceptionally durable multitool, solid, functional, and very comfortable for everyday use. The finish is of the highest standard, as is typical for Victorinox. The pliers and wire cutter work perfectly. The casing is ergonomically designed, so even long use doesn’t tire your hand. The screwdrivers and scissors perform flawlessly, the wood saw cuts excellently, and the metal saw manages even hardened steel. Each tool is lockable, which further increases comfort of use, and the case is sturdy and well-finished. The Swisstool X is worth every penny, and no cheaper alternatives can compare. I wholeheartedly recommend Victorinox products.

Excellent multitool – heavy, practical, and comfortable for daily use. Very well made, in keeping with Victorinox’s reputation. The pliers and cutter work flawlessly, and the casing fits perfectly in the hand, providing comfort even during prolonged use. The screwdrivers and scissors are very well designed. The wood saw works brilliantly, and the metal saw even managed to cut through hard steel. The convenience is increased by the lock on each tool. The belt pouch is also excellently made, with a strong loop and careful finishing. The Victorinox Swisstool X is worth its price and is much better than cheaper alternatives. I highly recommend Victorinox products.

Very high build quality, excellent materials, and functional tools. In my opinion, the only disadvantage is the lack of a practical clip that would allow you to carry the tool in your pocket – it would then be a much better choice than most competing products.

A very practical and compact multitool, perfect for fishing! It fits in the hand wonderfully, so you don’t have to worry about it falling into the water and sinking!

I bought it in another shop, probably 18 years ago now. This is equipment that is almost indestructible. The only drawback, in my opinion, is the lack of a clip for conveniently attaching it to a pocket. I have a lot of affection for it.
